Awesome interview! Can anyone explain what he means by 0DTEs having to be hedged with other 0DTEs? Does he literally mean that it MMs are selling SPY puts, they are then buying equal quantity of the same puts?

Cem is extremely knowledgeable about the markets and has great insights into the underlying structure of the market. He definitely deserves a follow but be very careful listening to his predictions. The more confident he is the more likely he’ll be wrong.
He plays a heads I win tails you lose scenario with his followers. If he ends up being right he’ll pat himself on the back and if he’s wrong he’ll just say “knowledge is vol dampening” and move on to the next prediction. There are rumors that he’s blown up a few funds and I’m thinking that’s probably true. Still a great guy but just be careful with his advice if you just discovered him. There’s a reason most of fintwit makes fun of him.

@@LanceXBT it’s not blindly clicking a button. It just goes to show that no one knows what the markets will do and despite how right Cem most of the time he will still have a few misses completely.
He went on every podcast for months and called Jan 17th pullback. Talked about how he was right in the past to the dot with exact dates and since Jan 17th we had the complete opposite.
Of course he will say not financial advice he’s not your PM. He has to cover himself being in a public.
“Knowledge is vol dampening” would be his reply if he’s ever wrong except he himself said that he doesn’t hold the view the majority. Some of his supporters even go as far as to claim market ran up just because Cem talked about it. Yeah right as if he’s the fed chairman.
