Basically majority of people who say that ethanol eats fuel systems are those people who have been using mainly 87E10 gas for their cars and small engines. Then they assume that its ethanol that caused fuel line breakage because all they see at gas stations fuel pumps labels that there is 10% ethanol mixed into gasoline and nothing else. But they have no clue that majority of those gasolines with up to 10% ethanol have higher content of BTEX chemicals that are corrosive and eat fuel systems more than ethanol.
Another great vid bro 👏👏👏 That's great to know ...keep the coming big man 💯💯💪💪
Why is the fuel cutting ? My boy run e85 on drift car but at times it’s cutting out I thot it was e85
Not the fuels problem but the system
@@WarriorOfEden3033 what about the system. That doesn’t tell me anything
@@foreverg3549 lost of things. I can't just give you an answer without proper diagnosis
So the e85 is actually less energy dense so it requires the car to spay more to get the same affect, but then e85 allows for more timing for more power. If you have fuel injectors rated for 500hp, turbo charged or NA, then on e85 they’re only good for 400 hp.
I appreciate you for making this video bro!
Another con that I’ve heard is e85 is pretty inconsistent in its concentrations. It can heavily vary in how much ethanol is cut in, which isn’t good when you want consistent numbers for a tune
Very informative video bro! I’m curious, did you do a return style setup for your fuel system or are you running the factory returnless style?
Since I’m doing low boost I’m still on the factory return less style, but I will be upgrading soon once I start shooting for 500 whp
The g35 fuel lines definitely aren't designed for ethanol use. Yeah you can get away with it for a short amount of time but then corrosion comes into play and your fuel system is compromised. Upgrade the fuel lines if you plan to run e85 consistently, don't let people think this is ok when it's not designed for it...
Pretty sure I suggested upgrading fuel lines regardless in the video.
@@DGWhipZ just trying to help people out. You made it seem like it was an age thing with fuel lines, when its more so the oem fuel lines arent rated for e85. You can run whatever you want, doesn't mean it's right.
bro how is e85 only 20 cents cheaper???? here in cali 91 is $6 and e85 is 3.50
That’s crazy, I guess location makes a big difference 👀
Sick vid bro 🔥🔥
Thanks for those pointers!
Cool
