This is like most videos on Pythagoras it explains how to use it but it does not explain why it works . I have a easy way to show why it works with a progressing of squares 1+3+5+7+9 or using a graph of y=X squared if you look you can see why it works like going from corner to corner across a chess board.

What if it was 2 square a, and 2 square b, what would C be? I'm trying to build a deck. Its 8'X8' post and beam, and the deck resting on top is 10'X10'. I would love some real world feedback.
