Right Hand: Stormhawk Axe
Left Hand: Twinbird Kite Shield
Talismans: Radagon's Soreseal, Axe Talisman, Blue Dancer Charm, Red-Feathered Branchsword
Physick: Spiked Cracked Tear, Strength-knot Crystal Tear
He makes this look so easy you’d think anyone could do it - that is the sign of a true master.

OMG thank you! I am doing RL1 and the second phase always messes me up and I don't know what strats to use to dodge, unlike other videos this really shows off all the bosses 2nd phase attacks and it's helping me a lot. Thanks and gg for doing with with no juiced weapon!
I like how appropriate your weapon choices are during these fights and the way you efficiently use as many openings as you can to damage these bosses man. It’s pretty damn impressive, and even more incredible with a RL1+0.
Unreal run. Well done at the end resisting the urge to hit him until it was certain he was there to be hit.
GG. Also appreciated the use of an axe since I love using any axe during Godfrey’s 1st phase. Also possibly my favourite fight in all of souls-like due to how fun & exciting his movesets for both phases are. (Yep I enjoyed this fight so much at RL1 and in general to the point where I did like more than 40 Godfrey fights with my RL1 character using a duplicate save file)

Such a cool fight but i hate when bosses have a second phase that have a completely different moveset than the first, really tough to learn the 2nd phase when you get accustomed to the first one because you fight it 10x more, it becomes a hastle to reach the 2nd phase when you are already gonna die to an attack you didn't even know existed

Hi this is really impressive gg Hoarah Loux is really frightening your rolls are perfect on him I personnaly used Pulley's crossbow and even with it I was still scared of him😆

Thank you! The dps is not optimized at all for phase 2; cleanrot knight's sword would be a much better option with its superior speed and range. I just wanted to try out the axe, and having access to a buff to reapply during the aoe attack was nice.

I still struggle with dodging his roar attack thing even tho it doesn’t do damage it’s annoying to get hit by it hahaha
He still gets me all the time with it too. His roar is just pure bad manners. Gotta play around it the entire phase 2
@@thedtvcop Yea I totally agree because of the Roar If I try to do Hitless I actually can’t do the method where you circle around him … instead I run away and wait for the cross hand attack and keep running away
@@YungSnowGod That works. Punishing any of the grab attacks is probably safe. I like light roll a lot for added safety from the roar when going for punishes. I also really prefer faster weapons for this fight as well, for both phases.
@@thedtvcop not to get to technical but do you think it’s safer to roll behind him for a lot of his punishes , Sometimes with colossal weapons builds if I roll into his grabs I don’t have time to run away from his hand swipes
@@YungSnowGod Most of the time it is best to work towards behind him, since he has dangerous attack chains that only happen when you stay in front of him. With colossal weapons you probably need to space or strafe the grabs to get safely get the punishes.

I prefer using longer weapons for this fight. You were missing many-many openings because of short range of axe and long range of light roll. Surprisingly for me, hoarah loux becomes trivial with zweihander. Consistently hitting him with roll r1 and constantly posture breaking him.

Mostly patience. In the beginning, just focus mainly on learning the enemy moveset rather than winning. Take all the deaths as they come. Once you can react to all the moves in time and have an idea of what moves you can punish and to what degree, then you can focus on trying to win. Will be easier to have a clean fight the more time you spend learning. You got this
