I see you have an anti-bullying video. You may be interested in Babymetal's Ijime, Dame, Zettai (no more bullying, forever). Two excellent versions: the live (and final song) from their set at Sonisphere 2014, and there is the official music video which follows the message of the song. Both are worth watching.
Sonisphere 2014 was a breakthrough performance, their first in the UK, originally booked for a side stage. Another band cancelled and Babymetal was moved into their main stage time slot only weeks before the show. Uncertain how they would be received there was some consternation and there is a photo of the trio just before they went on looking somewhat grim. They could not see the full crowd before they went on and were only expecting several hundred or maybe a few thousand to see them but were determined to give them a great show. However, not only were there were several hundred fans in the front, there was some 50,000+ British metal fans behind them. After a 30 minute set they left the stage to chants of "we want more" and "one more song."
They shouted it twice, lol, but its not like they weren't expected though, they did i think two different local venues weeks before
@@jimmyju76 , No, not local, they did do 2 europe shows in the days just before, Paris and Köln (Cologne). I think those were the shows where they celebrated Yui's and Moa's 15th birthdays by having Su give them the lead during Headbanger.
@@johnschultz7765 Indeed, at the end of the Budokan Black Night show in March 2014 there is a 10-minute promotional bit about how Babymetal is ready to leave Japan and conquer the world... they do announce the Legend Y and Legend M shows in Europe. Too bad we don't have official footage of those shows... or is there?

"Stand up and shout, Shout!, Justice Forever!" - (Road of Resistance)
Crowd here was 20,000 people. Their biggest shows so far were at Tokyo Dome with 55,000 per night over two nights.
BABYMETAL's lead singer, Suzuka Nakamoto first appeared at Saitama Super Arena in 2008 as a member of the trio Karen Girl's, when she was 10 years old.
She's been back several time since, headlining with BABYMETAL, as well as opening for Guns 'n' Roses.
For this concert, the bridges lowered from the top of the arena as needed.
This song was written in collaboration with the guitarists from Dragonforce, so you might have noticed some similarities with their music.
BABYMETAL's musical spectrum is pretty wide, they incorporate lots of different genres into their songs and add their own kawaii (=cute) flavour. Road of Resistance is more on the "standard Metal" side, so fans tend to recommend this song to "newcomers" that are coming from Metal (in addition to it just being a great song and an awesome spectacle to behold). That way they can get used to the unexpected elements like choreographed dancing and cute outfits with more ease. One thing that I noted that nobody's mentioned so far:
At the end of the song, when Su-metal called out "We are...!" she wasn't just referring to herself and her bandmates. When the audience responded "BABYMETAL!" it was a declaration and recognition of the fact that we are *all* BABYMETAL. Whether we follow the Fox God or we just follow the band, we're part of the movement together.
(Trivia: the "fox god" is one of BABYMETAL's gimmicks; when Amuse first started the subunit, the members saw the metal horns and thought it looked like a fox in shadow play. Amuse worked it into the group's mythology, and now the band and attendees raise "the kitsune," as Su called for at the end of the song (and which they did throughout the song itself. It's the metal horns, but you also touch your middle and ring fingers to your thumb.)

Good reaction. I'll just second the suggestions for songs like Megitsune, Ijime Dame Zettai .... and anything else Babymetal have done, none are the same as any other, they're all good fun.
Babymetal was my most fun concert so far, I'll be going to Rammstein in June so that might change, but it will be forever in my top 5 for sure. The energy & the live music (kami band) is amazing and the way they interact with the crowd is insane, it's like 20 circle pits and 20 wall of deaths while also dancing along with their choreo lmfao, I had muscle pain the day after so that says enough LOL, if you ever get the chance to attend their concert; please do so!!!
I envy you. Could you imagine the madhouse a double bill with BabyMetal and Rammstein would be? I could just see Till with his flamethrower being chased by the girls with their CO2 hoses.

Babymetal was always meant to be a performance band, onstage is where they are at their ultimate best! You are in for a nice Journey.
One of their most amazing live shows! The "galloping horses" dance sets the pace for what's to come. Japanese audiences are the best! And, of course, so are Babymetal!
when asked about seeing Babymetal for the first time, Rob Zombie said: "I saw them the other day for the first time. I mean, I'd seen videos and stuff, but I saw them live for the first time the other day, and I just loved it; it was like nothing I had ever seen before. I mean, it was just like… Leave it to the Japanese to find a way to make fucking death metal cute. But it was awesome. And the crowd… The crowd was going fucking apeshit. The amount of crowdsurfing and stage diving and just complete mayhem, which made it even funnier, 'cause it's three cute little girls doing fucking karate on stage and shit, and these guys [that are backing them] are dressed like ghosts, all in white. It's the most bizarre fucking thing. It's totally worth watching; it's so good."
I really expect more shows in the US this year. I have caught them twice the last couple of years in the US. They have played not just the coasts but in the Midwest and South as well. My suggestion for the next vid would be Ijime Dame Zettai from Sonisphere 2014. It is the show that broke Babymetal around the world and had true metal heads beginning to accept the band.

Nice video of Babymetal, they are so unique. FYI, The girls formed Babymetal while in school at the age of 11/12 on their own when later a producer found them and created the genre. If your interested in something also different in metal give a group called The Warning a try. This video is fun to watch with 18 million hits by three sisters from Mexico doing Enter Sandman by Metalica. They are Alejandra - Bass Guitar - 9 yrs old, Paulina - Drums - 12 yrs old, Daniela - Guitar - 14 yrs old. this was 5 years ago. They now have an EP and 2 Albums of original material they wrote the music, lyrics, and production. Nice audience participation! While Babymetal is not for me, I do see their appeal. Quite entertaining and the musicianship is top-notch. You should check out Blind Guardian - The Bards Song/Valhalla live at Wacken 2016. The crowd participation is incredible!
Another band that I suggest to check out is Clutch. They are a hard rock band that's been around almost 30 years now with all original members (a rarity nowadays it seems). They have a huge catalog of music that kicks major butt. Their songs range from acoustic introspective stuff to hard rockers and their lyrical content is both thought provoking and hilarious, sometimes within the same song. Been singing their praises wherever I can. They deserve to be HUGE!

Did you know Rob Halford is a supporter of Babymetal ? Did you see the APMA awards collaboration ? And know that Babymetal was opener for Judas Priest in Singapore end of last year ? I think it's cool how he's trying to support the new blood into metal.

@@musicgarryj It's not really a disagreement...he has his opinion and I have mine. It's not that I dislike Babymetal or anything like that, it just doesn't have that much appeal to me. The musicianship is stellar and those girls can sing and dance very well, but I just don't find myself wanting to listen to more haha! Cheers!

Check their tour page again, they are actually doing a full US tour this year, from Orlando, Atlanta, Dc, Boston, Philly, Detroit, NY, etc. etc.
LA is all the way across the country for me but I got my tickets and I cant wait. and they are top billing at aftershock on sunday in sacramento same weekend. they have been to the US last year but smaller venues. this is the first arena show here and I definitely wanted to go to that one. if I am not mistaken, Su was 17 at the time of this video in 2015. she is 21 now. hard to believe a young girl like that can have so much crowd control.
Unfortunately, I can't afford the tickets, travel, or the time off work. Otherwise I would definitely be there with you!

But this year with it being an arena style show where the production will be awesome, i talked my wife to go with me and we are making it a vacation. I am sure there will be lot of video to watch. I love the crowd in this almost as much as I’ve fallen for Babymetal. They must be the biggest collection of enthusiastic but terrible singers ever. It always seems to me that Su-metal is close to laughing when she pulls them back into line. Great performance by them.
@Jose Miguel oh I have no doubt. Suzuka seems to love doing what she does, and loves the crowds. Babymetal loves the audience and the audience loves Babymetal. It's one of the things that makes the live performance clips awesome.

She is amazing, has a badass glare and all of the talent of the world. Of course people go crazy for her and its not creepy attention which the internet likes to create. There is a reason major rock groups get behind that and love the band too.

You're a little out of date. Since the announcement of that arena gig at Inglewood they've also announced a full 20 stop US Headline tour for the early fall. There must be somewhere close to you since they're playing from Orlando to Seattle and from California to New York. Look on their website for a full list of dates.
At the time of this upload the concert in California was the only one. They added more after that
You should check out the kpop group Dreamcatcher! They have a metal/rock inspired sound with great choreography. I recommend starting with Chase Me if you go for music video, andWhat or Piri if you want a live performance instead. The reason for this is that they have some sort of story running along their mv's, and starting in the middle might be confusing if you start from the middle :P
