I relate to this song so much! 😭 Some people just really shouldn't have kids. I'm 38 years old and I suffer every day of my life because of depression and anxiety due to my fucked up childhood. Children who grow up in those types of environments never even did anything wrong but we still pay the heaviest price. 😔

This song hits me hard. I know everyone is talking bout their crush. I dont have a crush on anyone but what I can relate to is when he said:

I grew up hearing my mom and his boyfriend shouting to each other. They've been together for almost ten years now and its always the same. They fight and say horrible things to each other and then they are together again. I hate that. I've heard lots of terrible things that honestly i dont wanna say out loud.
I dont have sisters but I do have a brother, he's 8 now. And he's the only reason i keep living with my mum, i dont want him to be alone, i wanna protect him from those screams, he's the only reason I'm still alive.

This song is incredibly beautiful to me. And the line about only really knowing a positive love as the love with his siblings hits hard. I feel it's so often undervalued how for some people that relationship can be one of the truest strongest loves you will ever experience. I love how it combines a mix of family and romantic and self love to speak to love as a whole as a multidimentional force and the Sweetheart line just makes my heart melt. It's one of the most romantic statements in a really understated way. I love this song so much.
