I would want to know which is the best way to look for a job in Canada? The reference would work or should I separately put my resume in few applications like linkedin and Indeed. Very informative, if we worked for 4 companies in that do need to get reference letter from all of them or only from current company.
Another question what if any company got shut down.
And last but not least, what if your company refused to provide reference letter.

my passport will b expiry in 6 months and 15 days. Do I need to renew passport? Like u said u renewd passport after ITA so. U updated ur EE profile with passport number( as I know we cannot update profile once we receive ITA) or just submited loe and new passport copy with old passport number every where in the documents n forms?

Please suggest if one has done 4 year btech program and 6 months certificate program, that calls for additional points while making EE profile. When calculated CRS there's an option of 2 or more degrees/diploma/certificate program where one has to be of 3 years or more. Kindly advise, thanks in advance.

Hi good video, know its an 1 year old, but in case you are still following , have a question, I stayed in usa for about 18 months that was 10 years back, I dont recall obtaining any police clearance or anything while departing out of the country, what should I do to get an NOC from police there ? is it even possible? please suggest, thanks!

The details provided in the video are very informative and of great help to new immigrant aspirants like us. Thank you for sharing such details. I have few queries regarding my situation.
1.Regarding work experience , the company with whom I worked initially is acquired by other company so while getting the Experience letter from new employer , is it advisable to ask the new firm if they can mention the company name transition in the letter or do we have to support any other relevant documents to IRCC ?
2. Also, I have a Canadian work experience through the same firm ( onsite IT experience) . I believe this can be counted as an Canadian work experience. The duration of my onshore assignments are multiple for 3-4 months every time . Should I ask the employer to mention this foreign assignment details also in the same work experience letter or is there are any specific process that I need to follow to declare my International work experience
3.Proof of funds:I have an ongoing Home loan,does this impact the proof of funds that I need to show to IRCC ?
4.Police Clearance:I am based out of Mumbai and have relocated thrice in last 3 years (Mumbai itself),then do I need to apply for police verification from 3 different places or just 1 record for same city should be fine ?
1. Letter of explanation will work here.
2. If your payroll was managed by a Canadian company, then its considered Canadian experience. You will need a reference letter from the Canadian company that managed your payroll.
3. Home loan is a secured loan. You own the house against the liabilities. So that won't effect your proof of funds.

Very nice video. I have a quick query about POF. I received Adr for pof. I have provided my 6 months bank statements with LOE that i receive this amount as rent against my property and gift deeds from my immediate family.
My question is: will it effect my application if i have some withdrawals in the form of electricity expenses and life insurance expenses??
In my NOC code there are more than 10 designations and in noc duties the duties mentioned are for those 10 different designations eg. if in total 10 noc duties are there then 2 duties are mentioned for a particular destination 2 for some other and so on. So my question is if i am able to match only 2-3 noc duties will it okay to proceed?

Hey I have a question so I am in Canada and just apply for my PNP it takes 6 months to process and planning to visit home for sometime in September so I have question regarding PCC so while my MPNP is in process if I apply for my PCC and just giving explain if I receive it and if I get MPNP let’s say by AUg Sept and I put my file for Pr with PCC and went home for a month and came back so that would consider as invalid right for my PCC??

i have police clerance,date printed is december but i came in canada in febuary so after police clearance i have been in that country for 2 month,,in july there wil be draw for fsw so should i reapply for police clearnace and there is no expiry on my police clearance,,and i have been in canada since febuary so do i need police clearance from canada also??

Thanks for the very informative video. Just one question regarding the reference letter. As per my duties and responsibilities, my NOC code is 1311"Accounting technician and bookkeeper", but my job title is 'Assistant Manager Finance & Accounts". Can I submit the reference letter with my actual job title and duties as per the NOC code 1311?
Job duties matter. So if you have selected the NOC 1311, make a reference letter as per NOC 1311 job description. Designation could be different.

HR wont provide letters as per my request, they always do what as per their policy, hr will never ever gives letter as per my way, this is impossible

Hi Shilpa Ma'am, Could you please help me how to prove if there is a change in employer name during the employment. I joined organization 'A' whose name got changed after 6months as other company acquired its business process and now I have payslips & ref letter on company's new name letterhead, and my joining letter plus initial 6-months bank statmnts is having old name).
Will that complicate things? LOoking forward for your reply!!
Two ways:
1. You may ask your employer to mention it in the Reference letter.
2. Else you may mention this in detail in your letter of explanation.

Hope you guys see this and reply, since you both are from HR background, I am in a situation where I got an offer from an tech MNC with branches in Canada(my goal is to settle down in Canada itself) vs my current company which is a tech startup who are not willing to let me go hence meeting every demand, reasons, compensation, they are also saying they are willing to give me a job soon as I land in Canada, my question is does working for a renowned MNC affect your chances of landing a job in Canadian Job market ?
Hi Ankur, if your company is not willing to let you go and ready to give you job once you land in Canada, I suggest you to submit your express entry profile and then ask them for a favor to give you a job offer from their Canadian branch. This will increase your points and you may get the invite at the earliest.
Even if your current company sends you in Canada on some projects and you try to find another job here, your chances are good to get a sponsored job, if you have strong experience. Good luck 👍

If I have credit card dues in another bank account - do I need to give a solvency certificate of all the bank accounts, or just get the one I am showing as my proof of account.
I guess u need to show only 1 bank where u r showing ur proof of money
My one employer will not issue me reference letter and i also leave that job in 2019 but while leaving they issue me an experince letter. Is that letter is enough to claim that experince as my that organization is a regulatory body, and they could not expose their existence due to security concerns.
Along with the experience letter from that employer, attach a letter of explanation saying why you can't get a reference letter. If the reason is genuine, the immigration officer will accept.
The NOC code (Purchasing Agent) in which i have continuous work exp for 1 year i have selected as primary noc code but there is a question in work history “DATE ME FIRST BECOME QUALIFIED TO PRACTICE THIS OCCUPATION. In this case
1) I don’t have any related formal education for the noc code i am claiming as primary noc.
2) During my employment in this noc code i was still enrolled in a distance bachelors degree program ( not associated with the primary noc) and have not competed any prior graduate education.
WHAT DATE SHOULD I MENTION FOR DATE ME FIRST BECOME QUALIFIED TO PRACTICE THIS OCCUPATION

2. I am BCA and MCA but I have been teaching primary classes, so i hv only teaching experience and thts around 10 years. But i hv not done B. Ed. So if i select NOC code for teaching. It will not match with my qualifications. Will it result in rejection?

Masters will definitely help in improving your CRS scores. It doesn't matter if your work experience matches with your qualifications but it matters that if it matches with the NOC code you selected in your application. Good luck 👍

It's fine if it's signed by the head of department. Just make sure that there is a contract number or email in the letter to reach the head of department and he/she must respond if any verification comes. Good luck 👍
