This is a beautiful piece nicole, and I have a solution to your paint problem, temu do a uv varnish sealer that you paint on, it's absolutely brilliant for things like your project and lots of other things, I use it all the time, hope this helps xx
Im in New Zealand and as this has an American plug I had to buy a reverse plug adaptor. I absolutely love my machine and also bought the curing machine, definitely a game changer.
I haven’t tried their curing machine. I purchased another brand and it was a complete waste of money. I started noticing that all of my pieces were coming out uneven and for a while couldn’t figure out what the problem was. My table was level. Come to find out that they trays that came with it warped. I write to the company and they sent more but the same thing happened within a couple weeks. I just haven’t bought another one since. I do want to try the let’s resin one at some point when I get more space

@@B.L.Creations have you ever mixed it in with your acrylic paint? You know how typically when acrylic paint dries you can peel it off? When I mixed it with the gloss varnish I was not able to get it to come off at all. That’s kinda why I think it may work that way

I love the bee hive. Does the gloss varnish you normally use let the rhinestones keep their shine? I have used resin on them and they turned blah. Loved the music 🎶

I use their big cups and they fit the machine perfectly and it helps the bubble removal using a big cup, I do 5 min twice.
I am looking forward to using it more and trying it with high viscosity resins as well.

It’s adorable Nicole , thank you for sharing . Anytime I use acrylic on resin, I use a uv resin coat or two covering it .
