For those that have discovered the magic of my brother #BaqirAbbas via this, here's a montage of him proving that he is simply the greatest #Bansuri (#flute) and #Jazz musician the world has ever known. ua-cam.com/video/sF5dV9eQoik/v-deo.html. Do subscribe to this other channel QalandarArts as via it we will be launching some jazz events with Baqir in 2020 in London.
I could not agree more. Wynton Marsalis himself calls him 'one of the finest musicians in the world'. Here is a lesser known video of Baqir exploring Take 5 on his bansuri. Like everything he does, it will stir your soul - ua-cam.com/video/x0GLNoQjWKw/v-deo.html
Dont compare they are just jamming out and enjoying each other this ant competition. Just love for music really enjoyed this best thing ive listened 🎶 too. Image being there live wow 👌
As a bansuri flute player myself, I've to agree, it takes tremendous skills to play " that simple bamboo" thingy. It's possible to get a 5 year old to play some piano or guitar, but not so for bansuri. Takes extreme devotion and passion to play well!
Baqir Abbas is up there, looking halfway silly with just a little piece of wood----and all Wynton Marsalis can do is shake his head in disbelief after Baqir finishes his solo. Truly a magician, thanks for posting this.

I know what you mean about his flute sending you 'high'! I've been floating non stop since I met him in summer of 2013.....check out his exploration with his bansuri of this classis - ua-cam.com/video/x0GLNoQjWKw/v-deo.html
"i never knew" never winded or wounded, whose sound knows no bounds but lives and leaps and leaves the listener with a feeling few experience out of music especially music like this for always: music like his a light to spark the spirit at all possible times when you needed to hear it and didn't even know. 7-19-22
I love seeing the group's smiles and how much humor and respect they have for each other. Someone will have a killer line on their solo and you'll see someone in the background laughing or smiling. Truly amazing
@@antoniomangoni9719 Sorry, but I didn’t see this comment until like a year later! Nowhere close to as good as this, but I had a lot of fun and it worked out really well! In the end, the rhythm was what mattered the most, and I could fit it in perfectly’! Sadly, I left the band after 10th grade (I’m now in 12th), but my experience there helped me grow as a percussionist!
@@jonathansimon498 Thanks so much! Sorry for not replying until now. I had way too much fun! There’s nothing like blending two very different instruments and musical styles into one combination! When I played tabla, it was just supporting the drums (and the rest of the band) while adding my own feel to it. I found myself playing it in every genre ranging from swing to ska. Sadly, I left the band at the end of 10th grade (been 2 years now), but I got to grow as a musician and learn lots of new styles!
❤ Wowee Bowhie you are soo incredibdly taented ...... where does it come from ? Is it from your soul dear boy ?? I just adore it long may it live says I ❤ love Mette ❤ xx😊

El que toca el Bansuri, Baqir Abbas, es genial, me recuerda al gran Hariprasad Chaurasia. Le introduce el chaparro a Marsalis con gran facilidad
