You lucky :) Only because these days when she was young and started play tennis, we had a wankers in Polish Tennis Asosiation. And they said "no money". Basically that's the reason. Because her dad first of all tried to put her to play for Poland. Anyway, she's legend in tennis sport, and that's cool :)
In Poland typical test question about first language is "in what language do you calculate". But since Wozniacki is a millionaire, question would be a nonsense.
Hello Ms. Caroline Wozniacki. If you are really able to speak Czech and Slovak I admire you and congratulation to your first victory in Australien Grand Slam! I admire that you can speak eight languages ! I speak only three languages.

Polish, danish, english, also swedish, norwegian are almost identical to danish, czech, slovak very similar to polish, russian is still similar to polish being slavic, can she speak dutch, german, or italian, spanish, french?
What I like about her is that she doesn't act as if every won match was some personal war. Most girls seem to think it's about life or death out there. It's a bloody sport for the spoiled for God's sake...
+Henry M stop it, she's born in Denmark with the Danish culture and lived her whole life in Denmark. There is a reason her parents moved away from Poland, she has said countless times that she is Danish. Poland shouldn't try to claim a person that migrated from their country. She doesn't have a polish citizenship so she isn't polish, end of story....
Sometimes I dream in javanese, which is amazing taking into account I don't know a word in that language. It can be kind of frustrating not understanding the dialogues in your own dreams. Maybe I should start taking my medication again.
Why does the interviewer say "you let Americans get away with it"? I've heard plenty of British commentators saying her name exactly the same way that American commentators do.
This was a pretty random thing I noticed, but check at 1:23, it kinda seems like he's trying to signal her that she had something on her tooth but I'm not sure lol
hahaha thats a good point, I wouldn't have picked up on that though if I was her. I'd be like hmm that was weird what he just did by placing his finger on his front tooth
Caroline; you are GORGEOUS and we all adore you. We miss Ana Ivanovic playing with you... Two gorgeous and feminine ladies just playing the best ladies' tennis together.
Confirm - Polish is horrible to learn. Try to spell the name one of their city: Szczecin. I rather choose Chinese to learn most quickly than Polish. It's quite understand that Siri still doesn't speak Polish :-)
I'm from Poland and I can also confirm, that my language is a nightmare to learn for non-polish people. Pronounciation is the biggest hurdle, but our grammar isn't easy aswell. And Szczecin isn't that bad, we have better one here: Szczebrzeszyn ;) Good luck with that :D
Ok, Caro is being very diplomatic here obviously. But I won’t be: There’s absolutely NOTHING difficult about pronouncing her name in a proper Polish way. Just like it’s not difficult to pronounce Smith or Schmidt or Gonzalez. It’s just people’s utter laziness to make the slightest effort. Nobody’s expecting for anyone to pronounce it in pure native Polish but c’mon give me a break. Yeah, there is one sound there that would on average require a minute of gymnastics but it’s not higher math people. The same with many other names destroyed by Americans, Brits or Danes in this case. “It was so difficult for them to pronounce Wozniacki correctly” - no Caro, it’s not difficult at all. It’s just laziness and disrespect in you think about it. There you go, I said it.

"What language do you dream in?" Never thought about that question.
That's how you know when you are fluent in a language - when you start dreaming in that language
In Poland typical test question about first language is "in what language do you calculate". But since Wozniacki is a millionaire, question would be a nonsense.
I heard that also, but. that's not accurate, many people dream of being able to fly or to breath under the water.
Simon Says right
so you mean deaf person doesn't dream ??
What a cutie. Congrats to her on winning the Australian Open! :)

Yeah. Especially since this was taped, they could've stopped and let her clean the lipstick off of her teeth.
