The movie Deliria (aka Stage Fright, Bloody Bird, Aquarius) was directed by Michele Soavi back in the golden 1980s of italian horror era ;-)! I have seen this movie about 22 years ago! The soundtrack from Simon Boswell is awesome, like all of his soundtracks!
My absolute favorite Galio. My introduction to both Michele Soavi and Dario Argento. The Soundtrack was absolutely perfect. I still remember watching this amazing film around my 15th birthday and i was absolutely mesmerized how good that film was.
@@orlandor.riveraburgos8509 to be fair, it does seem like a fusion of both. Taking the beautiful cinematography style of Galios (minus the light & colours) with the "one after one" principle of slashers and you get Stage Fright / Aquarius / Deliria.
@@KRAFTWERK2K6 Yeah I can see your point of view in the cinematography but Giallo are more mystery based similar to New York Ripper(1982). We know in Stage Fright that the killer is a maniac while in the the other film there's a question to who it is. Your point of view is valid tho🔥🤙🏻you can make an arguement with that
Something I found interesting is that there is an obscure horror film called "GhostHouse" from 1988 that uses the same soundtrack but has a different music artist, just found it interesting. IDK whether they copied it or both music artists maybe had something to do with each other. You can find the soundtrack from the other film on UA-cam, take a listen for yourself. Edit: found that both films were released by filmirage, so maybe they just reused the score for GhostHouse.
"Eaten Alive" and "Make Them Die Slowly" (both directed by Umberto Lenzi) share scores (at least partially), so it wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't a cost saving measure on these smaller budget genre films.
@@andrewgarrett3555 Yeah that would make sense, GhostHouse was a smaller lower budget film than Stage Fright so it would make sense for them to have done that.
12:45 It's fucking amazing!

This film is a trip. EXCELLENT giallo with a stellar OST; if you haven't seen this film, do it!! Thanks for the upload.
Actually it's a slasher not a giallo
When film score music was very individual to the movie.

Its actually a slasher not a Giallo but good you enjoyed it :)
