- In this video from the ScottieDTV You Cancel Cool Road Tour 2020 I stop by and see My good Friend Ricky Bobby... I hadn't seen Ricky in over a year so when He called Me to see if I wanted to check out His latest build this 1930 Ford Model A...I packed the car and headed His way....Ricky has a style of Hot Rod that He builds...Slammed down Ford Model A's...With big wheels and a cool engine...The "Canadian Eh" as He has named it is no exception....Ricky is not a fan of air bags so were this one sets...Is where it rides....It's covered in a color called blue grape...When it is in the shade or a place without direct light...It looks blue...When it gets into the sun or bright light...It's purple...A cool color for sure...The interior is all custom, very cool and comfortable to ride in...Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone...These one off custom billet wheels work for me and should work for most...There is no hood...But there is a supercharged flathead setting out front...Very fitting for this build and very cool in my opinion... The morning after I shot this 1930 Ford Model A by Ricky Bobby it was heading home to Canada...One very cool Hot Rod for sure...I dig it and I am sure You will to...Check it out!!

Any lower, & it would be under the pavement with just the wheels peeking out :) I wouldn't want to fold myself in half to get in & out of my car, but I do like the quality of the build. Another nice one, Scottie!

Man I love Ricky Bobby's work. He's cars are refined as hell even though he'd probably dislike the superlative. That color is out of this world.. I honestly thought that Mr RB had reached his peak after that bronze coloured 'A' he built couple of years ago. Another awesome Shoot brother!!!

Hey Scottie, thanks for the video. Started seeing pictures of this beaut earlier in the year and was wondering why I didn't see it on your channel first. I am enamored by all of Ricky's builds and have been working all COVID-quarantine on my own Model A with design queues from his builds (big wheels, finished paint). Awesome to see one underneath, but a little sad I didn't get to see the interior laid out. Every part of these cars has been well thought out and polished. Nice work again RB!

I'm working my way through a similar build. Frame up probably going to be about $25k in parts when I'm done including the custom built wire wheels. I would say I will have around 800hrs or so in fab time and we'll say $85 an hour=$68,000+$25,000. I think a build would easily be close to or over $100k from a respectable fabricator like Ricky Bobby. I'm just a regular Joe tinkering in my garage :)
When I save up enough money I'm gonna have Ricky build one for me.

hey scottie, you ever go to the turkey rod run at daytona? i gotta tell a story...i was on a1a in ormond during this event and i was at a light (ive got a 2003 tacoma 4wd 2.7L) and this guy with a hot chicky pulls up next to me in a lowered 454 ss chevy short box with a blown 502 in it. it had just sprinkled enough to dampen the road. i looked over and said "hey ill race you badass truck to the next light" about a block, the chicky started laughing and the guy waved ok. so i put it in 4H and when the light turned green i took off. behind me all i heard was waaaaaaaaaaaap and he shut it down. we he got back to the light the chicky was rofl and i said "make sure when you get to the track you tell all your buddies how your badass truck just got its doors blown off by the pizza man in a 4 cyl". the chicky was laughing so hard i thought she was gonna pee herself....goodtimes :))))
