- Budapest, the capital of Hungary, is one of the greatest cities in Europe and one of the most popular tourist destinations of Europe.
On POPtravel we walked some tours around the main sights • Walking in BUDAPEST / ... and up the citadel • Walking in BUDAPEST / ... . On this tour we walk from the centre to the north-eastern districts with the Heroes Square and the Széchenyi Thermal Bath.
We start our tour at the Rumbach Street Synagogue and walk towards Astoria. We stay then on the Síp street towards Dob street where a street market connects to the Király street. This area is quiet popular for night life with many bars and some ruin clubs around.
Then onwards towards Liszt Ferenc tér are more street cafés whereas the Oktogon is a busy intersection also for public transport.
We walk towards the Nyugati Station and also see this train station from the inside. As we are a bit away form the city centre we check out some side streets and the opera house (under construction at that time) before we return to Oktogon on our way up North.
The Andrássy street is long yet we alk all the way to the Heroes Square. There we are in a more recreational area of Budapest. The Vajdahunyad Castle is worth seeing. One of the main attractions of Budapest are the baths. The Széchenyi Bath complex surely is the most famous so we end our walk there.

Budapest is my home since 37 years ago. I'm 37 years old, hungarian.
Fashion street the best love from greece
Was there in May 2019, absolutely loved the place. The Danube is obviously one of Europe's great rivers and there are some tremendous bridges to cross. Buda (the old town) is very beautiful but quite a small area. All the action in the evenings is in Pest and although some of the Ruin Bars are terrible hipster tourist traps there are one or two that are simply amazing. Cheap food and drink and a really pleasant city to walk round, would go back in a minute.
I love Budapest, it's an amazing city! :) Thank you for the tour
European cities are definitely the most beautiful in the world. ❤👍
I love these silent walks.
love to be europe christan not so called muslim
love to see other cities and places, Thanks for taking us to your walk. Cheers!
Thank you Daniel for taking us on your travels around the world. I'm very glad you're going to the train station for a while. I preferred to travel by train and I still like trains
Amazing walk! Great work!
I lived in Budapest at the time and I walked home from my work every day on these streets. I loved those walks.
I really enjoy your walking tour!! What a lovely place! Have a great weekend my friend!
Hermosa ciudad,me encanto..👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏽
This was great: 4k @ 60 is the way to capture the soul of the places, as of 2021
Thank you! There are 2 more walk of Budapest in the Hungary playlist: ua-cam.com/play/PLaxUrZNxL7WIvM6QyzqBdV-jJgnEtQXBb.html
I'll see when I can return to Hungary to record some more places. Thanks for watching!

Hey!! I was in Budapest in August 2019! OMG! I'm going to look for myself in the video. It would be very very funny to meet me in it! XD
Ooh, Budapest! I've been there twice. It's a very beautiful city, isn't it? The buildings are amazing and I felt the magnificence of the Magyar Empire that built this city. Thanks for the good video.
City is pretty good, was here in 2018, long before the coronavirus.
london be love england and hungary my love first europe country i like advancment and culture of oppness and freedom
Isn't that the Dohány Street Synagogue at the beginning? Not the Rumbach street

Park Min Ha 🇫🇷, 🇭🇺, 🇹🇭
Is that your name? Well that is Korean so why the Thai flag??
What a coincidence! I'd have spent in that city the last 1 and 2 November, but, of course, trip canceled! ... Bloody (damn) lab virus! Well, so when I can, I'll be more excited to get back there, again. It's a beautiful city. Besides, I see that it's gradually being updated, just a few years ago, their appearance and maintenance were deplorable overall. Good job.
Thanks! The Hungary playlist has 3 Budapest videos in it from a few days in August 2019: ua-cam.com/play/PLaxUrZNxL7WIvM6QyzqBdV-jJgnEtQXBb.html - I also hope to return to Hungary and Budapest sometime soon
Yeah, that's not Rumbach st synagogue but Dohany st.

is this common today - not a lot of people wearing masks? Really nice walk!
Its a 2019 footage
I find it funny that many people, once they notice the camera, can't stop looking straight into the lens.
Have you ever run into anyone who didn't appreciate you recording them, however briefly, while walking past them?
I found very few instances when recording wasn't appreciated. Most people seem happy when they recognize the camera - especially those who recognize themselves in the clips here on the channel.
In case when there were potentially private/tricky situations in public (like in Pattaya ua-cam.com/video/UxgBWumlA7Q/v-deo.html or even Berlin ua-cam.com/video/6tI6KRaaCto/v-deo.html ) I blur out the part in my video before upload. I've had people waving at the camera or trying to get in the video as I pass by quickly. I've heard even someone noticing the camera too late telling me "Oh I want to be on UA-cam!"... 😎I still try to keep faces out of the video mostly with a lower position and faster walking so the faces blur and people aren't the subject. I'm tying to film the places in a non-intrusive way.
Thanks for watching!
running in BUDAPEST
Yep, it's a big city. The channel is part exercise to me. 😎 The new DJI Pocket 2 has a bit better stabilization so I'll see to update Budapest with new walks as it's been 2 years since these videos here. Maybe I'll try during winter, if that's possible this year. Thanks for watching
Ich mag zwar Graffiti, stehe dem aber skeptisch gegenüber wenn man irgendwelche Tags auf historische Architektur schmiert. Aber trotzdem eine sehr sehr schöne Stadt.
I think I understand what you’re saying. I like urban art in which there's pictorial art, but not a simple and stupid, disgusting "tag". So now, who gets inside the minds of these "artists" to convince them that by doing so they become primary beings and that's a total lack of civility, education and love of art?
41:52 wow
lol why?
Why you don't add the music on the clip ??
These walks aim to present the original ambience of a city. Music tastes are different. Music on UA-cam must be licensed or will be copyright claimed. Some people use their own background music, exercise or even listen to audiobooks while watching these videos
@@poptravelorg uhm,okay ! :)
I think you don't know Budapest ar all
Why is that? I think I know Budapest pretty well. There are currently 3 walks in Budapest if you care for other districts and routes:

www.poptravel.org/videos/tags/budapest/
@@poptravelorg I use to live there I'm from. Budapest. I live abroad. But thanks for sharing I haven't see Budapest 8 years.
That's great. I once spent 3 weeks in Budapest and visited several times in summer and also winter. I'm surely no local yet I jogged around quite a bit. Thanks for watching. I hope to visit Budapest again soon. If you have recommendations where I should go, please let me know
I don't see many obese people for sure.
Poor city.. eaten alive by tourists.
Like all tourist spots everywhere. It's a good thing and somewhat disappointing at the same time...
Still Budapest better than Prague and Barcelona, not so ruined down by tourists. But on the way....
