Do next: Antares declared war on Ursa in 1961 after Antares Victory in Forman Wars because they found out the Ursan spy was responsible for the Forman War in 1948 longer than expected
ermm actually ursa carried antares in the start of the war , Polaris had absolutely annihilated orionite and hydrus fleet (until they teamed up but whatever) also they were the ones who created submarines and used them in forman war 🤓🤓🤓🤓
I'm surprised Orion and Hydrus were not fully occupied in the treaty of Skorpius. What the Antareans would probably do is that they would grant Gemina more independance, but Antares would have a small amount of control over it, all of Orion would become a Skorpii state, and the Ursans will be happy to occupy Hydrus once again, especially Canis. That's how I would imagine it.
In my opinion, this is a more rational outcome of events after Centauri. But I would suggest the author to add the beginning of the war in 1953, so that Antares could rest.
I think it would be really interesting if you included some parts of lines being more static to represent how pushes often only occured in small areas except on a retreat of a defensive line.
Antares was losing the Forman war from the start. The only way the Forman war could have ended in a Solstice victory is that Antares had time to prepare, industrialize, and expand their military further with Centaura's resources. Ursa could have won in the Serpent campaign and take the Hydrus commonwealth, if they won the naval battle in the Yelman sea that broke the stalemate in the Serpent campaign, which is the Ursan invasion of Hydrus.
Hello, im going to point out unrealistic details, I do not have any intention to criticize the creator. 1. 1:46 Ursa would not even make it 1/4th of the way into the Hydrusite mainland, weakened due to the grease wars. Unless they got Antarean support. 2. 2:35 Libra refusing to join the compact doesn't make sense, You have a powerful empire invading you rapidly, And you basically refuse protection. 3. 3:34 The Ursan navy fleet would probably get bombarded by coastal batteries (if the Hydrusites have some) 4. 4:10 Orion AA is pretty decent, This doesn't make sense. 5. 5:06 This isnt exactly unrealistic, Just wanted to say that this island is the same as the island in the "Atoll" Gamemode in DEAD AHEAD. 6. 7:31 Orion would probably crush Auriga before they even attack Lemming Island. Other than the things listed above, Pretty Good Video. Feel Free to tell me in the replies if i missed anything, or if i got something wrong. (i barely did any research lmao)
My opinion is generally similar. I feel that the Orionites would at least be able to put up a fight. Changing the fact that Libra doesn't join the compact and a victory on a crucial atoll is probably enough to change the course of the war, but it doesn't mean that Orion loses every single battle. They still have a capable army, navy and airforce. If anything, Ursa wouldn't be able to do anything without Antarean help against Orion. I think that some changes could be that Libra delays joining the compact instead of outright refusing, a bunch of battles are lost by Ursa (especially when they are alone against Hydra), and the major battle of Jupiter Atoll would be won. (I do know that at 5:06 there is a version of the atoll map, but I don't think one of the most pivotal battles would be fought so close to the continent of Hydra. Rather, it would be fought in the middle of the Libran Ocean, with a victory there signifying a change in the course of the war from generally stalemate to an Antarean victory)
Idk if it’s already on your list but I’d be interested to see a revolution aspect of this where it shows the progress of rebels from each nation against Antares in this alternate history.
During the treaty of Skorpius, it feels like Antares Imperium had the attitude of France during the Treaty of Versailles, in which they f--ed up Orion real bad
I heard the if the Solstice alliance won the Forman war, Ursa and Antares would turn on each other. The war would probably have no clear victor, as Ursa does have a smaller army than Antares, but it's impossible to conduct an amphibious invasion of Ursa with Ursa having a superior navy than Antares.
I Petition An Alternate Timeline where Cetus & Aquila Signed a Defensive pact before the start of The Southern Corvus War, Due to this Aquila sent Troops to the War. ( Just A thought that has been going through my head for a very long time. Pros: - Cetus has additional Land Forces due to Aquila's Help ( Might Defeat Corvus? ) Cons: - Antares Can Join the war effort to save Corvus from Cetus reign - Due to Aquila's Forces station near the Cetus-Corvun Border, Antares has an opportunity to spearhead through Aquilan lands. Hey there. Reasons why Antares wouldn't win the Forman War. (I found this on the wiki) Antares had so much resources" - Antares was only viewed favorably in Southern Centaura; Columbia, and the Northern Centauran nations were heavily opposed to Antares. Columba was the only Northern Centauran Nation to be directly incorporated into the Antares Imperium, while the rest of the north would be turned into Skorpii Riaa. This was to quell rebels, but more importantly, consolidate Antares' hold in Centaura. Skorpii Riaa's governors can provide a certain share of their resources to the Antares Imperium, not all. This is not as exploitive as you would believe it to be. "Orion doesn't work as a country" - Gilded Age, Roaring 20's, The Era Of Good Feelings. Orion is a nation of industrial might, relatively unaffected by the Centauran Wars. They do have their own "land grabs", which were financial, of for a certain hostile empire, through guerilla warfare and alliances with disaffected territories. Even if this was not mentioned, Cetus should by your logic in this argument not work as a nation. This is fiction, and although the lore team puts as much work and effort for more realistic approaches, there is a reason why creative liberties exist, and its done purposefully. "The rebels are heavily oppressed" - The North Centauran Alliance units, despite the fact they have essentially lost their countries, still managed to operate all the way to the late stages of the Forman War. Just because the Columban Rooks eventually died out, doesn't mean they were the only form of resistance. "Ursa should've been found out by Antares since Aran Tau is paranoid" - The Solstice was formed when Antares reached out to Ursa, appealing to Ursa's Revanchism, hoping to have Ursa be a buffer zone in the coming Forman War, and for help in pacifying the Hydran Continent & fufill Kalvin Tau's dream. Aran Tau is not stated to be paranoid, meaning your argument borders on speculation, not fact. "There should be a treaty signed when Ursa falls" - Not a damn chance between an empire seeking to unify the world and a determined "Liberator" hoping to do the same, especially with the xenophobia being apparent. How would YOU feel if your fellow journalists are being treated poorly and deported back into your country? You'll feel glad they're safe, and angry that such a foreign country would dare do that. Same thing happened with Orionite journalists and Antares. "Antares is stronger than Orion during 1908s already" - Army rankings in Forma are based on performance and size. It does not include the future aviation power, nor does it include naval rankings, that of which we only know of Centaura's. Orion also invested into aviation after Ursa introduced it during the Grease Wars, and developed their navy further because of their uneasiness with how the Centauran War was going. Rankings in 1908 does not mean that the power of Antares & Orion will widen the gap. Comparing them like you would compare infinite series is not a correct approach.

Journalists can be both ai and player. I would even make an end of round analysis that adds up objectives completed/stopped, pictures from the journalists and reports from bystanders that either help orion image or further the geminan cause.
