My daughter loved the first Moana, she watched the first one when she was 3 and sang the songs for years after. She is 9 now and we just went to see this one this weekend and she really liked it. So glad to see parents reviewing this movie and not just older grumpy reviewers just hating it because it isn't the first one. It's not meant for them, it's meant for the kids and as long as the kids have a good time that's all that matters.

Saw Moana 2 last night and you know I gotta stop back by afterwards. Y’all were spot on. Enjoyed it. Wasn’t groundbreaking but wasn’t bad either. Didn’t regret my choice. Thank you.
I loved the first one, i enjoyed this 2nd one a lot but i feel like a lot of the elements within the film felt a bit rushed in a sense, almost like they tried to cram multiple things into one time frame and although still enjoyable i feel like the story (for me) didnt progress as smoothly as the first one throughout the film
Completely agree, this felt like something that would come on disney+ for sure, even felt forced at times. Hoping in 3 they let it cook a little more 💙
I was sadly very disappointed by this film. Everything that I loved about the first film felt absent, the new characters were forgettable and even the story felt lacking to me. I just couldn’t get on board for the journey beyond the reef this time. Great review 👍

So I just rather watch your review to see if it worth going to watch it. Since the Rock has played in a ton of movies, do you think his still Blockbuster or Bombbuster?
I hope you had a good vacation! We are well, so we can't complain. This one was a special piece for us; our daughter truly loves this franchise. I truly think its neither, right down the middle, playing safe Disney sequel. The Kiddos will love it, but parents and adults will likely be on the fence.
