    Hi,
I've just seen the video, Its Interesting but the way you make is lenthy process,
It could be made much easier way...
Here in India we always think about the easiest way to do the jobs done.
I'm very lazy person, I always try to find the easiest ways....
Soon I'm starting youtube videos, for training purpose...

Hi Suneel thanks for your comments and sub. I am not a professional jeweller in any way shape or form. Just a hobbyist who loves time spent in my man cave exploring the creative process of ideas and inspiration. It was never meant to be anything too serious however now I’ve got to monetisation with my channel I try to take it a bit more seriously.
I love making tools and jigs to help with a project sometimes more enjoyable than the project itself.
My favourite style of UA-cam video at the moment is commercial metal workers in India on a production line showing how they work sometimes on a dusty road moving tons of steel wearing sandals.
Good luck with setting up your channel look forward to seeing your videos … always something new to see on UA-cam … i’m sure you’ll do well … All the best … Nick

That is a gorgeous bracelet... you say 21 is fir a small wrist? You mean man's wrist. Mine I make 17 cm. And for my girlfriend I make them 15 cm... 😂😂😂
Going to make them in copper. And try with wirewrapping to make it more sturdy. Thank you for showing how to make a jig... I wil sure try to make one myself. But as I am eager to make the bracelet, I am going to combine it with wirewrapping. Should be beautiful... the jumping rings I can't bend as I don't know what to use to solder.
I went to Cookson and gold, and saw a beginnerskit. Will that be a good one??? i don't know. It includes a torch, soldering blocks and mat, pickle, Flux, and tweesers...
    Thank you. 😘

      @Nickscreativestuff  2 роки тому

this was an early video … lots of mistakes in it … hate hearing my attempt at a VoiceOver … once you get the hang of soldering it opens up all sorts of opportunities. I use paste solder a lot for jump rings. I think a soldering kit would be a good start if you get a decent discount on the individual items. however you don’t need much to get going.
A soldering block, torch, soldering paste and tweezers and you can get a lot done. … N

Rafts for a few years now it's something that truely don't grow old there is some thing new to try in the wide ranges of technic
Started of making chain Mail now I am off to parts unknown although I have a question about the gas your using all I have is a butane type torch the type you can find at the home Depot really takes a few to heat up some thicker wire so what are you using that does it with such ease
    Thank you for sharing

hi David thanks for the comment, I also love chainmail my next video I’m working on is an introduction to chainmail jewellery. I use a small butane refillable torch a lot its my preferred choice for most work although they come in a slightly larger size that is useful, commonly sold as kitchen equipment. Being a bit of a tool freak I have a lot of choice when it comes to gas torches however this cheap Instant lighting hand torch gets the most use … cheers … Nick

I suppose it comes down to size and mass of your project, if you were going to be casting or smelting large amounts of silver or annealing a plate an oxygen and propane/acetylene torch would come in handy.
But for every day jobs most jewellers would use this simple refillable butane torch … cheers … Nick
