You would need to kill everyone blood related to Zelda and find some sort of soul killing weapon for Link since demise put a curse on anyone with the blood of the goddess and soul of the hero and just genocide the Gerudos. With that all of the chaos ends, right?
This is why I love Zelda. The different timelines can be confusing at first but it always makes for such a fascinating and unique story.

I would really wanna see a Legend of Zelda game focused mainly on a story... But not any kind of story, but the story relevant to all the other Zelda games in both the lore and behind the scenes experience. With all the intertwined confusing timelines and constant reincarnations and repeats, the dream sections of Link's Awakening making you question reality of events, the story hints in Skyward Sword trying to explain the whole Link-Zelda-Ganon loop and why it happens, it really makes me wish for a Zelda game about... Link, in one of his incarnations, suddenly realizing it all and, as a result, having a game-long psychedelic experience, constantly jumping from one reality to another, trying to make sense of this mess that is his torn apart mind, yet besides that, at times having short bursts of consciousness where he actually desyncs with all this nightmare and just wakes up in his own reality, with the ability to walk around and do the generic Zelda game stuff, just progressing through the story, except this time realising it all has already happened, in one form or another... or did it? I want this game to make you, as a player, just as well as Link, as a player character (perhaps), constantly question what is real and what isn't. Are those "burst of consciousness" reality? Or is it the psychedelic sequenses? Are some storylines from those sequences make more sense than others or retain their plot in-between and hence seem more real than the rest? Are Skyward Sword prophecies real? Is this all really a dream/state that Skyward Sword Link fell into after being cursed? Could this be just another dream world/sequence like in Link's Awakening? I want those parts to be the initial focus, goal, and basically the point of the game. Figuring stuff out, making some choices, fighting villains and enemies that have little to no interconnection, while trying to win the main battle: the one between Link and his fucked up mind. It would actually really serve to have an ability to play through at least a " half the basic game long" version of some select visions. To actually go out and beat Ganondorf, save Zelda in that storyline, only to highlight how pointless that was. How it literally accomplished nothing except it changed his visions and experiences slightly. Maybe give him another choice, to try and beat his actual storyline, not getting rid of those visions or finishing "the game" either. Maybe even fast forward in time even, to show his eventual death of old age or something and eventual reincarnation of both him, Ganon, and Zelda.
The game could have multiple endings (cause why the fuck not), one of them being, obviously, Link's death. One of them, maybe, him just getting over being nuts and just settling down to just live the rest of his life (which could be the most satisfying for those thinking his hallucinations are just that, hallucinations, while the moments out of them are the real ones). One could feature Link "waking up" the way he did in Link's Awakening. Some more could result to him reincarnating in any of the previously established games as an end cutscene. And the one (maybe the best one, I dunno, depends on if there's actually meant to be a bias from the developer's or is it just all meant to be grey) where he actually tries to piece it all together, deeming everything but the Skyward Sword sequences unreal and made so by the Skyward Sword plot in the first place. And after that realization he actually wakes up/reappears in Skyward Sword's timeline, breaking out of the curse bestowed upon him. Boom!
This is the best I could think of, in terms of actually taking advantage of the fucked up timeline and making something great with it as a storytelling resource. Now many concepts introduced here sound unrealistic at paper, but in reality there are many examples of both Zelda and non-Zelda games proving that varying level of craziness in a game design are possible. Zelda devs time and time again managed to put out many many hour long experiences for everyone to enjoy, and consistently too. If one actually manages to apply some or most Zelda gameplay formulas to this, it would result in something just incredible, at least in my opinion. Now, I'm on to continue my journey through UA-cam, realizing I just wrote a few pages long fan-fiction that no one's ever going to read xD Was worth it anyways.
Okay, I just read this whole entire thing, and you're right! That is definitely something that I would absolutely love to see- and I love how detailed you made everything in your explanation! I love this and honestly, I want to see more. I don't know why your comment hasn't been getting much attention, but this shit is amazing. :)

That game could start off with a fight between fully upgraded link and a powerful ganondorf but when u beat him link also gets killed. And he wakes up in another timeline with his initial memories and all the reincarnated memories. Call it legend of link nd have like an avatar feel with all his reincarnations as statues

I would one hundred percent be behind this. In fact, it would be interesting and amazing to have the more sureal elements of uncertainty in the timelines occasionally being represented by the in game graphics switching between a botw aesthetic to whatever art style of the previous games Link is currently in. I imagine an updated Ocarina of Time or Link to the Past world that graphically looks like the updated graphics of the current game aesthetic but randomly switches during gameplay to it's original graphics. That way you satisfy fans who would like to play through past Zelda titles with current game design and aesthetic, while also incorporating the original gameplay of those titles in an interesting and innovative way that narratively makes sense with the concept of reality bending and the disorienting uncertainty that Link is experiencing and in turn the player would be. I would love this game unabashedly and it would capitalize on the rich history and convulted timeline of the series, in a unique and creative way.

I think I messed up the BotW placement in this video. Will upload an updated Final Version on Monday after going through all of the timeline possibilities by looking over the first memory cutscene in multiple languages (Japanese, French, German) and the mentioned Zora history quest involving Princess Ruto, the Goron Figures at Goron City. Looked over all locations and monuments dedicated and depicting historical Zelda figures. Let me just say, my conclusion will surprise some as I see two possibilities and none of them are a part of the traditional downfall, child and adult lines. This game is a different beast.
Commonwealth Realm I really don't think you messed it up at all. I refuse the downfall placement for several reasons. One the Zora. Okay so you say that the Zora know of Ruto but we know in the downfall timeline that the Zora become river beasts so why would they even be around this far after with written history? The adult timeline just wouldn't make sense. Old hyrule was wished away, to be forgotten. It would just be silly to bring it back.

Don't worry. I understand. The fact that we have to look at one cutscene in multiple languages shows how much of a cluster all the facts are.
Luckily I did a proper flyover of all references, locations, monuments and cutscenes with Macintyre and this time we will get it right. Animation is in the works.

Breath of the Wild takes places far after all the other titles, as confirmed by Hidemaro Fujibayashi and in-game proof. The Divine Beasts and the Sheikah tech are NOT from the pre SS-era.
But which timeline is it in? Child or Adult?
In botw link is only 16-17 so I would say child

The Hero of Time didn’t necessarily have to die a violent death in order to have deep regrets. Yes, he may have endured injuries in battle (losing an eye somewhere down the line), but as a royal knight, he would have been highly respected and honored in another way, even if you take Ganon out of the picture. He was probably still quite famous for his bravery and skill. That’s just not enough, though, when the thing he probably considered the most important accomplishment of his life (defeating Ganon in another timeline) was never known or recognized, especially if he wound up with PTSD from his trials in OOT/MM/elsewhere. Even if he was happy in his marriage and had a family, that trauma doesn’t just go away. That’s all plenty to leave a man with an otherwise good life dying having regrets. 😞
I want to point out something:
In Skyward Sword, you travel forward and backward in time.
In the future timeline, you kill Demise with the Triforce.
In the past, you seal him within the Master Sword. Then take him to the Future Timeline.
Thus, Demise's curse no longer exists in the Past TL, only the Future TL. Demise can't exist in the Past TL's future because he was no longer sealed and got sent to another TL. Therefore, none of the events after Skyward Sword can happen within the Past TL, only the Future TL.
Just an observation I made while replying Skyward Sword.
Omg... there is so much to the Lore. 5 min. in and I was already overwhelmed with info. I can't believe it goes on for another 55 min!

The child timeline is probably the saddest timeline for link if you think about it. He loses his friend Navi, which we assume he never finds again; he goes to a ruined Hyrule and no one even knows who he is.

Midna78 The Hyrule Encyclopedia (which made the change) isn't canon. First off, Nintendo didn't write it. Nintendo Dream Magazine did. Second, they said that they took several "creative liberties". Third, they also messed up several other pieces of information. For instance, they classified the Hero's Shade as a Stalfos (when he is a spirit) and said that the entire story of Majora's Mask took place in Skull Kids head (when the back of the damn game case says otherwise, as well as the entire plot). Officially, the Oracle games still take place before Link's Awakening.

first of all, the history of the zora in botw says that princess ruto was awoken as a sage, which didn't happen in the child timeline. second of all, it said that the divine beast vah ruta was named after princess ruto, which would imply the other divine beasts were named after sages as well. vah rudania = darunia. vah naboris = nabooru. the only one i can think of for vah medoh is medli from the wind waker. So adult timeline just makes the most sense for me.
and yeah i know about what zelda said in the first memory about TP and that does make it confusing, but i'm sticking with adult timeline unless there is some other huge evidence i'm missing. the TP reference is really vague, and we might be misinterpreting it.
Puddle Duck well,the thing is....adult timeline is not the most likely,its the least likely xD the game states the royal family is the same line as in any other game(the bloodline of skyward sword-zelda) but that cannot be because tetra did sail away with link. and in spirit tracks,we see that 100 years later,the new hyrule already is complete. why would the hylians leave a land that belongs to them(no demons and no gods) for a destroyed hyrule that is far more dangerous? even if the new hyrule got destroyed,it would be far more efficient to just repair that :'D

I doubt they will confirm the placement any time soon. The game's lore is rather controversial compared to past Zelda games.
