Caleb's defense is not a Problem. I think he would be a bit more versatile If he could capitalize more on punch out put, sitting down on his shots moving his head after he punches maybe becoming more grounded in the south paw stance which could add to his defense/Offence. I think he's a perfect Boxer with great fundamentals. Some how I do believe we have seen the best of Plant. I think with Canelo fight the moment caught up with him and with David he did not or was not able to sit down on his shots as we seen with Anthony now that could be due to a number of factors New trainer, I know he had his mother die. I hope that he finds his stride. I don't care what people say he still is the he is the most talented fighter in the division

I think he moves just a little too much. All the movement gets him tired later in fights. He's a beast tho.. one of my favorites.

@@joey_ricciardi117 yeah, I can agree with that, because it does prevent him from throwing Combonations. You’ll notice at times he’s Out of position, he can’t sit down on his shots and I like the shoeshining, but how effective really is it? I still think he has a chance to beat Canelo to beat Benivedez. I think he just goes in with the wrong game plan. I think it was the moment that got to him in the Canelo fight! I didn’t see no counter right to David Benavidez, left hook in the fight he could’ve did a roll and shot the right hand a catch and shoot the right hand and like how you said, he could minimize a lot of that running, by just taking wider steps to gain more ring! But if you really need to get out of the way, I know it’s frowned upon he could do what Paulie Malignaggi used to do and that was backpedal! Once you get to the top echelons, you have to sometimes go against the grain! I’m not saying fully get away from the fundamentals. But there’s things that he can improve upon he’s got a good right hand. And his body mechanics movement and all is better than any super middleweight in the division.
