I just picked one of these up from a Japanese seller on ebay and took my first photos with it today. It’s great to hear someone knowledgable talk about the history behind the camera - thanks!

I hadn't noticed that issue with the rewind lever on the CCN I purchased from you. So I went and checked, and sure enough, mine thankfully has no play.

I own a CC and it’s one of my favorite cameras. Imagine quality is fantastic as long as you don’t shoot into the sun or get any stray light hitting the lens, otherwise flaring is a giant mess. Much prefer this to any of the now super popular plastic compacts.

Big fan of your channel. Excellent content.
I just re-saw this video and discovered I have the same exact camera (CC) with the gold atom. Mine was released without the ‘Wide’ branding.
    Great camera.

The two blade aperture was a pretty common cheat I believe haha... The sx-70 line had it, and I found it in the Revere Eyematic 127 as well. I'm sure I'll run across more models with it as I keep buying stuff to repair.
This is probably my favorite video of yours so far, learning how you got into this whole repair and sell business was very interesting and entertaining, and I really liked the detailed explanation of how this camera came to be, how it was designed. Great stuff!

It was a popular idea where space was small, the most common camera with this system is the old Olympus Trip 35, but I like the effect in the CC/CCN cameras a little better,

Do you have a video fixing the pad of death in these? I can only find articles about the regular electro 35, not the CC

Very interesting! How would you rate the reliability of the GL vs CCN? I like the fact the GL goes to 1600 ISO, has a silicon diode meter, and a 40mm lens. I don't see much in terms of the comparisons between these models. I would love to see a video, similar to some others you've done, where you share your unique lessons on these models compared.
Also, on your web store, a GL has been listed there for months, but it is out of stock, so I think you may have a website issue.
This was a great video - thank you!

The GL was a step forward In design for the Electro 35, and was more advanced than the CC or CCN, some people would prefer the 5-blade aperture on the GL, and chrome cameras seem to be more popular today than the black paint versios. I have listed a few GL cameras over the months, but they sell quickly,

@@japanvintagecamera8869 Would you consider the GL to be a more reliable, less reliable, or equally reliable camera to the CCN? Thanks!!!
