Love this style of deck. Considering building something like this with real cards, but I'm not experienced enough yet to decide which cards are safe buys. Love watching you try things out though. Now I'm also looking forward to blue-black-white though 😎🥳
ooh yeah, this deck is awesome but committing in paper is scary... I think a more classic Azorius control might be a safer investment tbh. Working on an Esper build as we speak!
Everything outside of certain lands are probably affordable but you could always sub them. uW control would be tedious to play in paper but there aren’t a ton of triggers you have to watch for so that’s a plus.
Hi Cheese, been watching since you uploaded that Jeskai room deck. Was wondering what are your thoughts on authority of consuls for this deck? Not sure if you often see aggressive decks.
well hey there! I miss that rooms deck, might have to give it another go. I love authority in control right now, I think the main reason I didn't include is because it doesn't synergize with the instants / sorceries cards... but maybe it would be a good add vs agro!
I have a similar list with Haughty Djinn & Archmage of Runes. I think Artist's Talent works if you really want to put things in the graveyard (like for Haughty Djinn or Oculus). Or if you want to specifically "draw" cards like with Proft's Edetic Memory. So it's definitely an effect that could work
I think Archmage is my new favorite card. Part of me really wishes it was legendary so it could be a commander… part of me loves you can just draw like 8 cards in a turn with multiple lol.
This deck was the original reason that I subscribed to the channel! Looking forward to the video and all future iterations + content! Good stuff
ayy thanks, that's so nice! Appreciate the kind words
Ooh thanks for including Ojer! He didnt see the light of day, but I appreciate the effort.
absolutely! haha I know I was bummed to not draw the card... I want to try and include it in a future build with more of a staring role
I'm building this deck to play T2 at my LGS, thanks for all the insights
oh that's awesome, let me know how it goes!

@@PowderedCheeseAficionado Yeah, I figured. Jeskai is just such an awesome colour combo.

@@l0lan00b3 I thought so too about the price tag. Tedious how though? Just curious 😁👍
@@JonasFillet just through timing like it’s usually a more reactive and slower deck which means you have to do a bit more thinking lol

Thoughts on artist’s talent in this list? Loots to filter your hand, spell reduction to do an archmage impression.

definitely, I could see that working well! I guess I didn't include to focus on instants / sorceries but I'm curious to try it
Needs mazemind tomb for sure
can't get enough tome, stay tuned for the next build

haha it would be such a cool commander... and yeah it's such a fun build around! Going to try out other color combos next
