    The fact that he won both the Arnold’s strongman Championship and Worlds Strongest Man in the same year makes it undoubtedly that he is the strongest man in the world.

    Mitch is a real life super hero, and a huge inspiration. Won the Arnold's and WSM in one year. He brings everything together in a never seen before package, insanely strong but also insanely smart, kind, humble and ready to give back to others. His ability to set goals and listen to his body and work out the perfect plan and execute it is mind boggling to me. I really hope the world will recognize more of him and he inspires many others for years to come. Congrats and go Moose!

    Mitch is very deserving of this title…an all around well placed vessel to lead Strongman in a positive and upward direction! Having the opportunity for him to coach me was amazing last year where I gained so much insight and direction on how to become better, stronger and smarter limiting the chance for injuries…I’ll be forever thankful for that opportunity…Worlds Strongest Man is just a title but he truly is that and more

    The strongman and the strength community as a whole has really changed over the last 15-20. Like Hooper said, the biggest, strongest, most tattoo'd up person at the guy is PROBABLY also the nicest person there and happy to help (just don't interrupt their workout!). Strongman has helped to inspire me to get back into the gym and working on both my mental health and physical health with awesome people like Hooper, Licis, Kerney, JF Caron, and so many others. Lift Heavy, Be Kind is a wonderful motto. Can't wait to see what you do Moose, super excited to see what YEAR 2 of your strongman career looks like.

    Mitchell is cool as hell. His marathon background definitely gave him a tolerance for pushing limits and work capacity and he translated it into heavy lifting and strongman perfectly. He's just the kind of new blood the sport needs with Eddie, Thor, and now Brian making their exits.

    Mitchell Hooper belongs on the highlight-reel of human greatness, right between Alexander Ovechkin and Jordan B. Peterson. The difference is that Hooper is even more impressive as an entrepreneur and media personality than he is as a world-champion athlete. It's hard to believe, but it's true. Long live King Mitchell Hooper.

    The winner of the World's Strongest Man competition is NOT the world's strongest human being in a literal sense. I'm saying that because Mitch mentioned it's difficult for him to comprehend that out of 8 billion people on our planet he is the strongest. Nope, definitely not, not even close. He doesn't have the strongest bench press on the planet, or the strongest deadlift, or squat, or shoulder press, or grip strength etc. He just simply performed the best in the very specialized events during this particular competition. It's an amazing achievement, absolutely, but it would be ridiculous to consider him to be literally the strongest person alive when there are millions who are much stronger than him at multiple different things. It's like saying the crossfit champion is the fittest person on earth or Miss World the most beautiful woman alive. One would have to go against all 8 billion people alive, in various different disciplines, one by one, to figure out who the strongest one truly is.

      The Shaw Classic is the heaviest competition out there and it's coming soon. If he wins it on top of WSM and Arnold that would most probably make him the best World Strongest Men ever.

    • @1984kylea
      @1984kylea Рік тому +1

      @@Ptitnain2 As happy as I am for Mitch and that would be one of the best (if not the best) years for any strongman I couldn't say best ever. Look at Brian, 15 years straight of WSM finals winning 4, Look at Big Z's record of WSM wins and Arnold wins. These guys put together incredible careers not just one great season.

    • @Lucas_Jeffrey
      @Lucas_Jeffrey Рік тому

      If you're talking about full versatility, with no concern for PED use, then WSM is easily the best metric for the strongest men in the world.

    • @aeis3007
      @aeis3007 Рік тому +1

      @@Ptitnain2 I would say the Shaw Classic and Rogue Invitational are now the heaviest. If he wins all of those with his WSM and Arnold win, then I think that would make him the best Strongman for 1 year ever, even above 2018 Thor.
