In 2001, Chuck E. Cheese*s hosted what was one of several large yearly conventions for it*s Store General Managers and various Company employees. 2001 was all about *Making Magic At Chuck E. Cheese*s*, and so that years convention was held at the magical Aladdin Resort in Las Vegas.
After the event, all Stores at that time were sent a copy of a 30+ minute videotape that showcased the convention, as a fun souvenier of there experience. These videotapes, and the footage on them, are now extremely rare to find for collectors.
This uploaded, edited version of the original full video specifically features highlights that would be of special interest to fans of the concept, particularly the entertainment aspects.
Look for marvelous cameos by members of the Entertainment Department, Jeremy Blaidio and Duncan Brannan. Also see Eddie Coker, Dick Frank, Big Mike, and Wizard Chuck E. himself, as you have never seen him before!
The musical segment at the end features many of the then contemporary standards seen at your local CEC at that time, most completely brand new to the Stores in 2001.

Still, I had extremely fond memories coming here as a kid.
I know for sure that Chuck E. Cheese in his wizard outfit was actually speaking live at the 2001 GM Convention, and not using pre-recorded speech. And it could possibly be due to Chuck E's voice actor Duncan Brannan being elsewhere in the building providing his voice and making Chuck E. Cheese speak live, kinda like the Ask an anime character panels at many anime conventions like Kawaii Kon.

I have the entire original VHS tape of this Managers Convention, but not the means to convert it and upload. Perhaps in the future i will play is during one of my live webcasts. This video here was a attempt at just getting the best bits up in a compilation form. The rest of the presentation is pretty dull ( taking about sales numbers, etc. )
I had my first birthday party at chuck e cheese in 2000. It cost 700 bucks. The mouse ain't cheap.

and for a while was also Munch he did both Chuck and Munch from 1997-2000 (John Bowen replaced him as Munch in April of 2000)

What are the locations in the end of the video? I know one is Fredericksburg and another was Irving but those were pretty much the only locations I recognized. (Plus that CEC that was a DZ)
