Works perfectly on P20 Lite (ANE-LX1) (Dual sim) (C432) i downloaded version 9.1.0.200 from the russian site androidhost and used Dload method to update the phone. I see people having problems with update i didnt have any problem with dload method (firmware from androidhost is signed from huawei so it wont get rejected). Great find Thank you for the video. @@randyaguas5306 please make sure that the firmware is downloaded from androidhost. You will need the exact firmware for your phone so please double check also the memory card needs to be in FAT32 atleast 8 GB. If you got the firmware from androidhost you just have to unrar the dload folder and drop it on the flashdrive.

GSM FORUM Fix works fine on July and August patch. I’ve tested this method on more than few Huawei models. Many phone still has June patch older where this don’t work. Read video description for more

@@frp Adding to my previous answer, i figured out why. For some reason, my eRecovery doesn't update to 9.1.0 2 or newer. It only goes for 9.1.0.147. Is there anyway i can force it to update above that? I have the rom downloaded but i don't know how to apply it now that i am on the setup wizard screen... And i probably need the bootloaded unlocked too

It doesn't work because you don't have this firmware as I have had in my phone... There are methods to update firmware via SD card. First update firmware and than use this method. It will work 100% - How to update ??? Google it

@@frp Using your description in the video, mine only downloads 9.1.0.147. Does the recovery, then reboots. If i re-do the upgrade again, it downloads the same packages. It allways says it's a 3186M sized file...
looks like need to update via SD card method. I will try to get phone in hands and make video on how to update it via SD card to JULY patch. But this can take sometime, a week maybe or more.
Because it works, not for everyone but for all who have SAME phone and SAME firmware as I had in phone while making this video.... This do NOT work on June 2019 firmware patch. This works fine on July and August patch.

Real USB to put phone into eRecovery. Without USB phone will boot recovery
With p20 lite it does not work!!!! tried and tried 100 times, even with eRecovery, but it always returns to the boot screen with the languages
It doesn't work because you don't have this firmware as I have had in my phone... There are methods to update firmware via SD card. First update firmware and than use this method. It will work 100% - How to update ??? Google it

Update once again. When you see your phone is updating to 9.1.0.2.0.1 - this is July patch. Then this method will work.
