So Rahul, after long last, meets with Muslims, and only women. And naturally, the discussion is on “oppressive men” (read oppressive Muslim men who control their women). I find this tiring. Of all the groups, it is Kashmiri men who have faced the most brute force by the Indian army. No attempt to reach out to them and no discussion with the women of how they felt with the loss of Article 370 and how it affected them. Were they told they could not talk about any of their male family members kidnapped by the Indian army? What about the full year without internet and how it affected their studies? This was a cheap and shabby attempt to reach out to the Kashmiris. I’m glad he did meet with these young women, but the questions were clearly controlled. These women had a lot more they wanted to talk about, and I hope he listened to them off camera. I find Rahul’s talks with the Muslim community extraordinarily fake and staged because he is afraid to answer tough questions. Only when a few people grab his ear during a talk will he respond without a scripted answer. This was very disappointing. You can do better with the Muslim community, Rahul, but you clearly have no desire to do so.
We like you but it does not mean you must think yourself great, always frowning, issues can be raised but the way you go on repeating like cast and reservations is not in good taste, you must take the guidance of experienced people around you
The only people who think that talking about the brutal caste system are savarnas. It is people like you who keep Bharat poor and backwards by following caste laws that are thousands of years old when you are now living in the 21st century. The caste system is a mental illness that must be addressed head on like racism was addressed in the US. It was never eliminate the mindless hate and fear of the most ignorant and privileged, but it will eventually move society forward. I am thrilled that Rahul ignores the guidance of the savarnas around him that continue to keep the lower castes and Dalits in mental chains and keep Bharat poor, ignorant, and backwards.
