I saw this video and purchased the Knights of the New Thunder album back in '84. These guys simply kick ass. Tony Harnell is a great singer!! This song never left my head and I'm glad I re-found it!
Tony is simply one of the best vocalists period and a great friend. I ought to know, we started out and worked together in our first few bands. He's still singing better than ever 25 years later.:)

Nights of the new thunder was the first viking metal album, although TNT didn't exactly look like the viking bands of today. The cover, the song titles and lyrics, and diesel is sitting in a viking ship in the video. Great stuff
I heard an interview once in NJ, that the lead singer is actually from Brooklyn, NY and met the other band members in a pharmacy buying stockings and got to talkin to join.
I usually hate glam metal, but this is actually kick ass. I knew about these guys for a couple years and this is like my first time listening to them in 2 years. Damn this is great.

It is sad that people like Al diMeola, Allan Holdsworth, Strunz & Farah or bands like DIO or Judas Priest play infront of small crowds or have to go to Europe becuse people are listening to "American Kareoke"!
