@@leonfrancis3418 Even if it has a lil' bit of Element you gotta be able to consistently land attacks instead of run around healing that's what makes this run exceptionally impressive
6:00 imagine if Alatreon shot a fireball instead, the slam can always mean insta death unless you are lucky, this was an amazing run though. Definitely proved a point that you can very well beat Alatreon with GS as much as people dont say so otherwise.

I never turned my back on gs because it’s all I know how to use but I do not believe I have the same amount of time to put into these achievements that the speedrunning community makes but videos like these give me hope for the future if I happen to get a kjarr decay gs when kulve is back that I too will eventually have a decent solo run. Side note: I absolutely love the fact that health boost 3 has managed to make an appearance
If he used element attack 6 the knockdown would have happened alot sooner. Right now he has 0 element boosting skills Also the fade slash you can do after a tackle does good element (good enough damage too), he doesn't do it because its not "optimal", but that would be better for casual play
This is a speedrun. Everything is calculated to the tiniest detail. This includes not boosting elemental damage knowing you'll get the weakening right before it happens and boosting crit or raw damage to kill him faster.

You can do this with the Velk GS and Safi 3 armor. It doesn’t have to be a Kjarr weapon.

Physical joy everytime TCS heals you to full. Also how do you smack the head so many times for so much damage but only break 1 horn?
You can only break 1 horn each dragon element phase
