    They used to have these with a vulc sole and they were amazing. Most comfortable shoe I ever wore I'm sad I got rid of them because they don't make them anymore

    Good to have found an interesting new channel!
    Ever since I started skating Etnies Joslin 1s I don’t feel like I need another shoe. Really comfortable shoe for me and very durable. Sometimes a bit uninteresting in the colourways though. I can wear them in my natural 11.5 or even 11 with the 11.5 being more comfortable and the 11 having just a tad better control sitting quite snug.
    I’ve mainly skated the cup sole variant and they have very good protection and skate very well. The vulc variant is alrite but I don’t feel like the increase in board feel does anything for me and especially not enough to sacrifice the comfort of the cupsole.
    But yeah Etnies make some good stuff!

      I just got some Joslins! If I didn’t have to review more shoes I would stick with this one for a while. Stay tuned that review is coming soon!

    i like etnies/soletech, been skating them on and off since the '90s. not tried the maranas or any of the michelin soles, but they're still good. i'm skating some now.

    Depends on the model I think. I've had some good ones for my kids, but one pair that fell apart on the toe after like 2 days. It looked gnarly.

      Every product can have a defect in it, but two days is pretty wild. I would’ve returned those 😂 or tried to get another pair.

    I got plantar fasciitis as well. I stopped skating ten years ago.
    Im only even looking at skate shoes again cuz i tried everything else. And i thought maybe some of the old skate shoes i used to rock might help (made for impact, hella padding and supportive).
    My pain was never this bad when i wore skate shoes.
    I walk to and from work and am on my feet all day.
    I need something miraculous.😂

    • @Ernie_Creates
      @Ernie_Creates  10 місяців тому

      Dude you need to buy some new balance 1010 and the van zahbas just to wear. Make sure you buy the correct shoe size that way your feet have that wiggle room.
      with this combo my plantar fasciitis went away but it literally took almost a year

    I bought some 9.5's online and they were way too tight, I would say definitely try them on first I don't think true to size applies. No review other than they weren't true to size for me.

    • @Ernie_Creates
      @Ernie_Creates  10 місяців тому

      Totally agree!👍🏾 I wish I had bought these in a size ten. 9.5 i bought felt like an 8. I was surprised I got the tricks I did.

    i don't really care about boardfeel at all really, certainly not in a new shoe. get a comfortable, durable shoe that skates well enough and it gets better and better as it wears away. the best skate shoe is an almost beat cupsole, but i'd never buy a new shoe that felt/skated like that bc it wouldn't last. it's like breaking in a baseball glove.

      @@menasouvlaki3595 no. It won't. Etnies is garbage Walmart shit now. Even if your thinking you're getting the quality shoes vs the Walmart editions there's no way to tell and etnies will lie about that. They've sold out and if I wear a pair of etnies now I'm the same as a Walmart kid.
