@melsiezambrana910 Hello! We have an online/on-demand EKG Interpretation course (4 lead all the way through 12 lead interpretation)! Go to www.passwithpass.com, then look for EKG Course in our menu!
@karynmardo4016 Hello! This comes down between rhythm interpretation. If the rhythm is regular with a wide QRS complex and is fast (>150bpm), and pulseless, then we can assume this is pulseless VT! And, we treat this as pulseless ventricular tachycardia/ventricular fibrillation. Any other rhythm that is organized and pulseless, falls into the PEA bucket and is treated via the PEA/asystole algorithm!
My ACLS instructor's mantra: “See V-fib, shock V-fib, everything else check a pulse!”
Thanks for commenting! And, wise words from your ACLS Instructor!
Well explained.
