Does hardliner mean fanatic ?
Just like in the west there are codes for dressing in a lot of companies, these are the codes for the Taliban (if the news is true). Although personally I disagree with forcing people to have beards, the fact that many westerners nag about other peoples' decisions in their own countries makes me sick!

I just watched a aljazeera video about afghan govt offices and there were people with, without and shortened beards.
Imagine having to come to terms with the same hardliners in Britain maybe in 20 years time.They will bar the Brits without beards from work and I don’t think the Brits will even show up at work.

Firstly Afghan people are Muslims and the majority have beards. Secondly why should we abide by extreme western rules and regulations that steal the wealth of the world, thirdly if the western governments deeply concerned about the Afghan people why would they freeze the Afghan money!? They are not punishing Taliban but the people who are definitely food insecure according to INGOs.

That restriction is only meant for jobs of that specific ministry, not for all government jobs. As the name suggests these jobs are only meant to be for preachers. And what kind of preacher are you going to be if you yourself are not practising what you preach.
