The kill switch has a little plastic nub on the inside of the back plate that would keep it in place on the stock bars. I shaved it down on mine and put some double sided 3m tape to keep it from rotating on the bars.
Hey man I just got done building this exact bike take a drill to the back of the kill switch and e start there a point back there to grind off because stock bars have a hole for that
I have those bars on my klx 110 and have the Same problem with the clamps hitting the little curve on the bars but it’s fine also the kill switch problem is because there is a little pin thing inside the switch that you need to cut if 😃hope this helps
Yeah meant for a 50, I got a good deal on them so I wanted to see if it could work. Which it did, I've ridden twice on small jumps and wide open turn tracks jus fine. They did move twice, but I took a grinder and widened the joint so it secures better

Cool I'll def shave it down soon!
I think you bought the wrong bars, I bought the pro taper 7/8 xr50 and they fit perfect. Stock wires and bar clamp bolts down tight, perfect fit.
also, that wire that goes into the clutch perch lets you use the auto start when you are in gear by pulling in the clutch.
Thanks! I was figuring it was something weird lol

Were they tall bars ?
The wire in the clutch is so you can start it in like second or first gear with the clutch in
Yes!
You have to file down a little notch inside that kill switch and it'll close
Thanks!!

Are these xr 50 bars supposed to fit a Honda crf 50cc and you just made it work for yours ?

Your bars are gonna movie when pulling back on them
I tightened them pretty good and filed down a bit to make it easier
Those bars don’t fit proper on the clamp
