The Single Greatest lesson I ever learned in trading was to stop thinking of it as money but rather convince myself it's a game and all I'm doing is trying to get the highest score. Don’t take one trade but multiple trades each time. Your account will always be in blue this way. You will double your account this way every day. Use stop orders instead of market orders. Stop orders Will only trigger your trade when the price reaches your desired figure.

Nice content trading come with a lot of benefits and I've just bought my first car through it. as a beginner I was scared of losing my savings but I'm glad I took the bold step that is now favouring me.
I never respond well to pep talks, where the time is spent on vague generalizations. Instead, I appreciate specific brass tacks about market patterns, or risk control, or structuring a trading plan, or any other real techniques that successful traders use. Incidentally, having worked unbelievably hard for decades at this, read and studied everything I could find, written software, and done many thousands of trades, I am now quite successful at it, which means that I believe I have done far better than most professional fund managers. Yet, I am always open to continuing to learn.

I spent 2-3 months on demo trading and made good profits and then as soon as I started real trading I started losing money like water, I was going to stop trading but your video boosted my confidence and I will try to work more strategically not emotionaly.
I'm kind of similar myself. Have had multiple demo accounts and they are almost always profitable, which lulls me into a false sense of security then when I trade on live I may get some short term wins but eventually it all comes crashing down, then I spiral downwards and end up in the red. I don't want to say how much I've lost so far, but it's bad. It's probably partly because on demo I can be completely emotionless and take it as a game, but on live account it is always in the back of my mind, "this is real money you worked hard for" which makes it difficult to not be anxious even when I tell myself I won't be. I'll hold losses for too long thinking they will turn around, and sometimes they do, but when they don't, the loss is way too big for my position size. I'll cut runners short too quickly to take profits, or on the opposite end I won't take profits and move my SL then a profitable trade will reverse on me and stop out at breakeven or go red. And then eventually emotions will build up that leads me to revenge trading and chasing which almost never ends well. I'm taking like a year or two break from the markets I think. Need to build up my savings some more. And even afterwards I think I will pivot towards buy-and-hold investing rather than trading on shorter timeframes. Even during my profitable windows it was too emotional, and it consumed all of my time and attention that I should have been putting towards my job, my relationships or even my other hobbies. In the end I kind of feel like it's not for me. Anything less than 100% commitment doesn't cut it in the markets. When even the majority of professional fund managers underperform the indices (especially over a period of years) I sure as hell ain't gonna do it.
There are logical sides of trading that are usually not mentioned. 1. Any market looks to accrue value. Companies don't participate in markets hoping to lose money. Unless there's some hidden, nefarious motive at play, companies want their stock value to increase in price. 2. When you fly, by and large, taking off is easier than landing. Gravity hurts if you're on the wrong side of it. By the same token, entering a trade is easier than exiting a trade.

I am new to the stock market. Every stock that I bought so far, I was out of luck because I bought them when they were expensive. I feel I missed out on all the stock opportunities so far for the tech stocks.I believe having 150K yearly income would be a good investment so I want to plug all my savings into the stock market. Don’t take one trade but multiple trades each time. Your account will always be in blue this way. You will double your account this way every day. Use stop orders instead of market orders. Stop orders Will only trigger your trade when the price reaches your desired figure.

I never respond well to pep talks, where the time is spent on vague generalizations. Instead, I appreciate specific brass tacks about market patterns, or risk control, or structuring a trading plan, or any other real techniques that successful traders use. Incidentally, having worked unbelievably hard for decades at this, read and studied everything I could find, written software, and done many thousands of trades, I am now quite successful at it, which means that I believe I have done far better than most professional fund managers. Yet, I am always open to continuing to learn.
This video is so rich in information that it could replace an entire book on trader psychology and an important psychological lecture that will put you on the right path in this field. So thank you for this effort

I spent 2-3 months on demo trading and made good profits and then as soon as I started real trading I started losing money like water, I was going to stop trading but your video boosted my confidence and I will try to work more strategically not emotionaly.
I'm kind of similar myself. Have had multiple demo accounts and they are almost always profitable, which lulls me into a false sense of security then when I trade on live I may get some short term wins but eventually it all comes crashing down, then I spiral downwards and end up in the red. I don't want to say how much I've lost so far, but it's bad.
It's probably partly because on demo I can be completely emotionless and take it as a game, but on live account it is always in the back of my mind, "this is real money you worked hard for" which makes it difficult to not be anxious even when I tell myself I won't be. I'll hold losses for too long thinking they will turn around, and sometimes they do, but when they don't, the loss is way too big for my position size.
I'll cut runners short too quickly to take profits, or on the opposite end I won't take profits and move my SL then a profitable trade will reverse on me and stop out at breakeven or go red. And then eventually emotions will build up that leads me to revenge trading and chasing which almost never ends well.
I'm taking like a year or two break from the markets I think. Need to build up my savings some more. And even afterwards I think I will pivot towards buy-and-hold investing rather than trading on shorter timeframes. Even during my profitable windows it was too emotional, and it consumed all of my time and attention that I should have been putting towards my job, my relationships or even my other hobbies. In the end I kind of feel like it's not for me. Anything less than 100% commitment doesn't cut it in the markets. When even the majority of professional fund managers underperform the indices (especially over a period of years) I sure as hell ain't gonna do it.
There are logical sides of trading that are usually not mentioned.
1. Any market looks to accrue value. Companies don't participate in markets hoping to lose money. Unless there's some hidden, nefarious motive at play, companies want their stock value to increase in price.
2. When you fly, by and large, taking off is easier than landing. Gravity hurts if you're on the wrong side of it. By the same token, entering a trade is easier than exiting a trade.

I'm at the end of the "traditional route." I have 3 years before I can retire from the fire department. I figure by the time I retire I will be a profitable trader. So many of my.peers retired and got another job. That's not going to be me! Now that I have discovered trading I will use it as a stepping stone to a better retirement than I could ever imagine.
