Embedded Instruction Inclusive Practices for the Early Childhood Classroom

Embedded Instruction is an evidence based practice that gives teams teaching strategies to support child progress within the inclusive early childhood classroom. Through activity-based observation and authentic assessment (DRDP), teams plan for Embedded Learning Opportunities (ELOS) to be implemented across ongoing classroom activities. These ELOs are meaningful and motivating opportunities for children to learn necessary skills to promote their engagement and participation in the classroom and beyond. Join us to talk about how to make a plan using the DRDP and activity based observation and work that plan to support child skill development.
