This set up even helped and was very fast in C class fixed 134 laps as well. Just a shame how they race though as they are lower license.
Jesus I was in some race & with some guys doing 29.mid was just impossible to keep up I was keeping under steering 😥
Is there a conversation chart for steering pinion? My unit is in/rev.
You can un-tick metric in the garage screen to see the US measure units
Does the mc affect the cars drivability
it does in a sense yes. the MC effects the cars stopping power and if youre going into the corner and using the brakes a bit to set the nose or help slow down then the MC is big because the smaller MCs require more pedal to get the same stopping power as a bigger MC. i personally use the 7/8 front and 27/32 rear because it feels very consistent to me and doesnt require a lot of pedal to get the stopping power weather it be for pitting, avoiding wrecks or even lightly using the brakes to get into a corner
How do you save tires? I ran the bottom, started 4th and fell to the back because my RF was killed. I can never have good tire management and its not like im pushing it 100%. I never understand
what pinion are you using ? burning a RF is typically because youre using too much wheel input even if youre trying to go slower to save the tire. couple suggestions to try and see if it helps is backing up the corner and taking a wider arc so the car falls to the bottom more naturally and hopefully youll find youre using less wheel input. the 3.15 pinion is the tightest rack which is equal to a 8:1 steering box.. so the smaller the number equates to a bigger steering box. it might be worth playing with a different pinion to see which one helps you save the RF the most
@@RobVrabelI've been using 2.64, thanks for the tips 👍
@@xlawrence1124x might be worth to start trying a lower pinion just to see if it helps!!
