George and Norma was very blessed to find each other during their teens. When love takes roots that early it has time to grow strong enough to weather the storms of life.
I have been a fan of George’s since in the early 80s and have followed his career since.
My best friend and love would try his best to imitate George just to make me laugh or get me to sing with him. I lost my best friend to cancer in 2008, so now I hold on to all the old songs from the 80s and 90s to get me through my rough patches.
I would like to thank Norma for sharing her gift with the rest of the world, and to thank her for taking care of one of Gods Special Angels.
Because I know that without Norma, George would have lost his way. He needs her more now then ever. I Love and pray for both of them. God Bless you both.

His wife is beautiful. Being married for 48 years, tells of their love for each other. He is a great dad and grand dad. Take good care of your family George and when things don't go right sometimes in a marriage, it can always be fixed, as long as they be true to each other. If a problems comes up, talk it out, communicate and everything will work out. Wishing them the best of happiness and much luck. I'm a big fan of his. His music and his voice touches me deeply.
I'm from the little town of Pearsall. I attended high school with George and his brother Buddy. His father Mr. Strait was our Science teacher me and my siblings. George when growing up used to go play pool at my brother's place The Rock House. Norma used to get her hair done at my sister's play Guys and Dolls. They were all very nice.

I love all of George Strait's music. I can identify most of his songs with occurrences that happened in my life at one time or another. I think that the reason George and Norma's marriage has lasted so long is because they respect each other and that has a lot to do in any relationship. Well George, I didn't know you had a daughter who was named Jennifer. She had the same name as me. And one of the staff who works in my group home here in Buffalo. My stepbrother Robert. His wife is also named Jennifer. I have an uncle named Dave and an uncle named George too. What a coincidence.
