Lovely video Stu, it just shows you how important knowing your subjects, their habits and habitats is to get great shots or footage. Thanks for uploading. Cheers, Robert.

Thanks Robert, yes getting to know your subjects from your own experiences is so important and one of the big reasons I am not a fan of things like e--bird where people just get a point on a map get the shot and leave never really learning why the bird might be there.

Excellent video Stuart, I just found your channel and have subscribed. It is really nice to find a local Vancouver Islander producing such excellent videos of our area. I am also on V.I. in Nanaimo and also like you I am a Nikon shooter. I am looking forward to watching more of your videos. Thanks for sharing.

I love your videos, thank you. I am setting up my Z8 using your guides.
Regarding bugs, my town in Ontario had a dead crow test positive for West Nile Virus this week. So, between deadly mosquitoes and deadly ticks, I try to stay covered up.

Thanks for the comment I am really glad you are enjoying the videos. All these diseases moving north, West Nile has been in BC but no real outbreaks like Ontario yet, thankfully.
