I am a mental health therapist and I use this in the background of my sessions. It adds such a calming presence to the environment of my office. TheSilentWatcher, you have no idea the difference and impact that you make in the lives of others by offering videos like this. I can feel that in my personal and professional life as well as from reading the comments posted by others. Thank you.
Wow, thank you so much! It means a lot! :))
@@TheSilentWatcher 🙏💙
Haha! Also been using this exact video in the background during sessions as a fellow mental health therapist. So lovely to see I'm not the only one using it this way! And for my own relaxation and recharging I always revisit the river kayaking one 😊Love your work, TheSilentWatcher!
This is so beautiful and it makes me forget about all the pain I feel in my soul and the pain I see around. When I listen to it ,it brings a smile to my soul and feel happy. Sometimes I just want to live in a place with sounds like that and away from this loud and mean environment that I am now
@@stephaniespring8225 Feeling the same. Good luck to you and healing. At the moment, my options to get out, directly into nature are slim, other than a neighborhood stroll
When I was 8 years old, mornings sounded like this. I close my eyes . . .
... and for me, it is the sound of being 8 years old and being lulled to sleep, early in the evening...
and me! this morning at 5 am I heard a male pheasant and a cockerel having some kind of shout off,, followed by a rook.. Not the same. Ha
For me it was the Mississippi and Alabama woods.
Me too!!! but it was morning doves

I have PTSD and big memory loss. I dont remember most of the past years. This made me remember things from childhood I did not know they existed. Happiness, freedom, no fear. Just calmness, just being. Thank you so much, you cant imagine How important this is to me ❤ Thank you
Wow, thank you too! It makes me so happy to know, that my work has helped you get into the state that you described. I wish that state of being to everybody, as I believe this should be our natural way of being. 🙏🙏🙏❤️😊
Finally one I can play in the house for my birds with no loops. Even the birds don't like loops.
That says it all . .
Toucans have been known to enjoy Froot Loops. 😉
Agree! It's like it triggers that uncanny valley / anxiety vibe since it's an unnatural pattern in what's supposed to be a natural space. Our primate ancestors are probably screaming from the past, through our DNA, to get out of that strange forest 😂
@@ShiftsThaGizzimI have thought the same. It also alerts me and continually reminds me that it's not real. I can never watch any of the AI ones for this reason alone.
@eduardo_corrochio OMG I couldn't stop laughing 😂😂😂
I suffer from PTSD and trauma. 2am is my worse time. Thanks for this. It calms me down a bit and helps me get back to sleep.
Glad to be of help 🙏😊
Hey Tamar, i dunno how your ptsd is by now i just wanna tell you, that try to search on hypnosis against ptsd here on youtube, it has helped me,, but yeah big shoutout for this lovely video,,

I read somewhere that bird sounds can trigger your circadian rhythm to go into wake up mode. So I actually wear earplugs some mornings if it's before my wake up time. Not ready for it. But I'm glad if it helps you sleep 🙂

@@gregorallnight371you've no idea how fun-tasticly correct you perhaps are. 😊💚 I know a place... a small forest place... next to a river... below the mountains... where I absorbed my first LSD and overall smoked serious amount of weed there... and another place... up that same river... with ammmazing, ammmmazing wild panoramas all around (that includes the river from above, few forests, the mountains infront of you, from end to end, and the mountain peaks, and of course - open fields and spaces all around... where I smoked so much weed... ahh that magic, that area... spent and will spend so much time there, again and again... I crave these places. There I am able to meditate and cleanse. And to travel. With a train and my bike, and also kinda in time, too. I would take everyone who is interested, there with me. Just let me know. 💚🤍💚
Yesterday I had to put my dog down. We were able to have a vet come do it here at home. I had the window open for the birds outside to sing to her, but I didn't think it was enough. She listened to this for three hours before it was time. It continued to play in our home and I paused it at 6:23:34 ... I'm not sure I ever want to let it finish. It should always have more to go. Thank you for sharing this comfort for others.
This made me cry so much. There's nothing I can say that might make it better but I just wanted to tell you that you are not alone and thank you for giving her this beautiful moment of deep forest and peace.
I admire the clean sound, no noises! It is as if the world stopped breathing to listen to the song. Thank you very much.
As a matter of fact, the world had stopped back then time as it was around the time of the first and biggest lockdown that happened all over the world and there were almost no planes flying. I was lucky to live in a village at that time and decided to use the moment to record some clean nature sounds :) And they were - almost no planes in the recordings :)
That is what the forest sounds like. Total silence btw each bird song.
For all my Life I've been dreaming of visiting a forest.
Finally in my last travel I had the chance to do that. Now that I'm back in the city I miss it so much...I feel my Heart broken without nature and trees. I dream with open eyes of those moments and I cry, I feel this strong connection with nature, expecially with the forests and I suffer without it. Am I the only one?
Thank you for this video. I said goodbye to my furchild & soulmate 17 days ago. It was just the 2 of us (I’ve lived alone the last 5 years, & I had Kindred for almost 15.). I was so very blessed, & my baby went peacefully in my arms on a beautiful summer day. I’ll never be the same, & the pain has been excruciating, but videos like this call forth amazing memories of exploring with her. Bittersweet, but one day they’ll only be sweet. 💔❤️🩹
You story breaks my heart... I wish to you that the bitterness is soon gone...
@@TheSilentWatcher 💔❤️🩹
My heart, truly, breaks for you. Unless one has experienced it, losing a precious pet is indescribable: the loss is with you every day! I pray that, as time goes by, you will be aware of your loved one's presence and be comforted. He, or she, still walks with you!!
Studies show that listening to birds song in the morning can lower anxiety and help calm the mind and mood.

@@rosewillowthetigergetting out of the house and going for a walk first thing in the morning has done me wonders. Be well
For me the singing of the blackbird is a song of hope. Early february it is the first bird who is starting to sing, even before daylight ; then I know.... spring is almost there 🐦🌳🌲❤🙏🏻
Have you noticed how quiet they are when it's still too cold? As if talking to themselves, remembering warm days) Love the blackbird's singing in spring!)
Oui

It is the most fascinating song.
I always compare it to a some weird code being sent out (like booting up old-skool phone based internet). Local ones always do a little variation in their sequences and end in this glitch-fest
Is it the song of a Blackbird that we are hearing?
Thank you. My respect. Internet would be useless without these videos.
Glad to be able to help 🙏😊
Oh my gosh, I do agree!!

This forest looks exactly like the forests where I grew up. It gives me such a sense of nostalgia and peace while I'm sitting in my flat in a big city, trying to study for my upcoming exam. I've always been very easily distracted and even as a kid I was always jumping from one thing to the next within 5 minutes, but I could always go on hour long walks in the forest without any distractions like music or a book, most of the time I wouldn't even take my phone with me at all. Can't wait to go back as soon as I'm done with uni 💚
Hello! Best of luck with your studies. I am intrigued where is this beautiful place you go for long walks? If you don't mind my asking.
Cheers from 🇨🇦
Yes !
This is human nature ☀️:) 🌲
Hola Viktoria, te deseo mucho éxito y que puedas seguir disfrutando de tus caminatas en el bosque, con amor desde México ❤
Hi, your channel has brought me so much comfort especially in the last two years. My dad got cancer (he luckily survived) my best friend died and I had to have my dog put to sleep. This isn't said for sympathy and I know many have lost more, it was just to let you know how much pain I was in. On the days that were most difficult i had your videos on most of the time, the escapism helped me so much. Thank you for finding and recording these magical places especially for those of us that are for whatever reason housebound.😘
Thank you and so sorry for your losses... :(
My husband and I would walk nature trails. We were married 42 years. He died unexpectedly 3 weeks ago. I am in anguish. No one can describe the physical, mental, spiritual torture that a loved one goes through. I understand your grief. This video transports me back to those quiet walks with him and brings a degree of comfort.
I feel your pain. I lost my beloved father to ALS 10 years ago. He was my best friend. I also just said goodbye 17 days ago to my furchild & soulmate, my black lab mix, Kindred. The pain has been overwhelming, & a few times I felt I couldn’t make it through the night. …. My dad’s loss broke my heart, but losing Kindred…… I feel like I buried my child. I’m thankful for the almost 15 years I had with her. My precious souldog. Prayers to all who are hurting. May nature soothe your hearts.❤️
@@daffodilsunday so deeply sorry for your loss. Prayers for comfort & peace.💜❤️🩹

I grew up in the eastern woodlands and now live in the southwestern desert. I love my life, but find myself dreaming of walking through forests of oaks, birches, maples, ferns, with snakes, frogs and turtles in the ponds and birds that sound like these. I miss the smell and the moisture in the air. This helps a bit, but I really want to get back there before I die. Thanks for the memory.
I grew up in Upstate New York .
I now live in a desert.
Not many birds, a few crows.
Thank you.
I grew up in the Catskills in NY. I live on the NC coast now...everything is flat here. Plenty of birdsong, but the forests here are more wetlands than the beautiful deciduous forests I grew up in.
Such a beautiful place. Thank you for inviting me 💛
My pleasure 😊
I miss living in a more rural area, there is something special about these sounds
Thanks for sharing this content. Its super valuable. Nowadays its getting harder and harder being in nature, without the contamination of population. I very much apreciatte your work
Thank you for putting effort on this! Its not looping. This is organic! All natural! I felt like i was on a camping ground again! Thank you and god bless🙏
Thank you too! 🙏😊
Great video and reminder..may we all have and show
much more love, care, respect and appreciation for our
amazing beautiful earth and all wildlife...thanks for posting
This sounds and looks like a German forest. Brings me back to my unforgettable loving childhood
Very cozy. Not for sleep, imo, due to high pitch and irregularity, but nice for just chilling and relaxing. Like when you too tired to listen to music but not yet going to bed and still want some sounds in the background. I find it gently stimulating, like I was really sleepy, but now I feel more alert.
Thanks for making this video I adore forests I set my smart bulb to green and my strip light to saddle brown which looks like earth brown color & get my Nanoleaf to forest got a forest incense cone burning drinking my favorite jack daniels neat while watching this on my 4k tv I am a 32 year old with adhd this is relaxing me which I never thought I would feel so relaxed thanks 4 this

I only say that this is the best video about forest and birdsong ever. Congratulation. This brought me joy and peace.
Thanks! :))
It is like a fairytale, but much better ; this is real ; the forrest the birds, the sun on the leaves.... To bad that we can't breath the fresh air. Thank you so much Petar 🙏🏻❤
My pleasure 🙏😊
Get one of those table-top ionizing air purifiers--it's pretty close!
Aaand to feel a bit of fresh wind. Other then that, very nice!!
I got two parrotlets and they don't actively answer to these birds but they are always more lively when I let this video play while I'm at work.
When it's silent in the room they don't do much, but when I come home and the video played they've devastated everything
Thanks for the great video clips instead of a looped single location. It's like taking a walk through the forest on a beautiful. The only thing missing is the subtle sound of the wind through the leaves!
Thanks again.
I don't know who needs to hear this but whatever is worrying you right now, forget about it. Take a deep breath, stay positive, and know that things will get better
I need to know, where is this magical place. so peaceful like a dream but you can tell its a real place. I do greatly dislike all the fake "nature sound" videos that are clearly not nature at all. I love this video and almost listen to it everyday due to having to have noise cancling head phones on for work all day. I like to listen to this because silence and then a really loud beep, just makes my anxiety very ill.
Not a single noise disturbance, no jet planes, or weed whippers going.
🥰
This is exactly what I needed on this cold, snowy New Hampshire day. Thanks for tweeting.
My pleasure 🙏😊
use this as a background noise when I do yoga, ABSOLUTELY fab!!
fantastic video...wouldn't we all love to hear this where we live instead of construction, leaf blowers, helicopters flying too low, sirens and more 24 hours a day?
I work from home and decided to watch / listen to this whole video today while I worked. It was so soothing and refreshing. Thank you!
So glad to hear that, thank you! :))

I love how you change the scene every few minuets! It gives the sensation of moving through the woods!
Hello Silent Watcher! Thank you for making the distinction about the looping video and the non-looping sound. Bulgaria looks very beautiful! I always wondered what countries like Bulgaria and Albania were like when we studied them on the map in grade school. Many people from there have posted nice content on UA-cam. I hope I will be able to visit Bulgaria, the Balkans and maybe a steppe one day. Until then, I will enjoy the sweet sound of birdsongs as I work on the computer. Love & light to you! Best wishes for 2023!
Thank you! May your wishes come true! 🙏😊

A BIG THANK YOU! I spend a lot of time photographing trees and listening to birdsong while I am about it but I have never recorded it like this. Now - as we head towards the cold winter months and I spend less time out and about - I can listen to this recording while editing photographs. Once again: THANK YOU VERY MUCH for making it available. Keep Well!

I spend another day inside as it snows yet again on this quiet Sunday morning in Montreal... I am missing the green, lush forests with these birds that sing such a beautiful tune. Thank you
Soon it will be green again 🙏😊
i'm so happy that i've found this newfound appreciation for these sounds, just going outside and listening for them is a great way to feel a bit more connected to the living breathing world, and a relief from my usual mind. birds chirping is like soundwave radio signals that carry with it the story of their experience, just as humans do these birds also live in a system and i'm sure they find a lot of meaning in what they do, and i think there's probably something to learn from them and what they do, thanks for these, it's also helping me go to sleep
Beautiful forests, relaxing sounds.... Don't let anyone cut down those magnificent trees!!
😍 this is like having an open window in my house. Love it! Thank you! 😍

I love the sound of bird song, it reminds me of sitting on my grandmas porch in the mountains falling asleep on a sunny Sunday while listening to all sorts of bird singing away. My favorite sound though was of the church bells sounding off the hours because it would ring through the valley and just sound wonderful

As a young girl, I used to wake to the robins' morning song all the time. Don't hear them much, if at all anymore. What is the world coming too?!!! I listen to it in the morning, and especially when I am in the yard puttering or just sitting watching the bees. I also take it with me on walks. So calming. Have always loved the robin song. THANK YOU FOR THIS!!!! It is now part of my day....every day.☺

As this life fades towards it's inevitable silence who could not find succour in Mother Nature's timeless refrain ?
I have to applaud your channel and your valuing of actual realtime. So many multi-hour ambiance videos loop after, like, 5 minutes, so your whole channel is a breath of fresh air. Do you travel often to get different areas?
Thank you! I aim for as much diversity as possible, but I also have looped videos :)
Boy do I ever second that. I too want the real thing. Those fakey loops--the ones that I've examined--don't even last 5 minutes. It gets weird and kind of stifling after a while.
@@TheSilentWatcher Can't support the compliment enough. Looped videos are a red flag for people who are really actively listening to relax themsevles. This video is gold and saved in my meditation list. Thank you!
@@TheSilentWatcher i think that looped vids arent that bad, aslong the loop is long enough. if the loop repeats every 5-10minutes it is just annoying after a short while. so thank you very much for this 8 hours of pure nature
