- In this video I'm up with the sunrise and take my drone out to check out the latest build on anther Thai wooden knockdown house in the village in a neighboring property...I also share that there is more going on with another piece of nearby farmland being backfilled for a future house. The new homeowner has used the same builder who built ours and they are quite skilled at making these beautiful and even custom wood homes all over Thailand! The links to the company are below!

Very nice woodwork on that knockdown. I suggested one for us, but Sompit said NO!
yeah...its not for everyone thats for sure....lol
Mr G, your coffee was definitely already cold.
Lol….at least it was still hot when I got over there….
Thanks Uncle Craig for the walk around. Nice video.
Thanks! glad you enjoyed it!
Your pond looks very healthy.
Thanks for the interesting video.
thanks for watching...we have two ponds...one seems to be healthier than the other...but of course there's no plants in the other one...
Great video it might be nice to have a neighbor to wave to every now and again. 👍😎
That would be cool
Didn’t know land was still that cheap, maybe we will be neighbors some day. Hopefully the world will still be here by then, thanks for the tour Uncle Craig.
I think they'll always be cheap land around in village interiors....just riding around talking to people you can find it everywhere...even when its not for sale the owner when asked might say ok sure why not...
Thanks for the video Craig 😁
haha...good on ya...ill try to get and inside view later maybe...
Nice review of the new knockdown house. You made some good points about making a pond and using the dirt to raise the land…put up some bungalows for guests (rentals). Always have good ideas about being self sufficient. A dream come true for some folks…😊😊😊
Indeed it is….
8:40 I'm only marginally edumacated, but I know the difference between an octagon and a hexagon...just giving you crap.... I'm starting to lean toward a knockdown vs concrete depending upon where we wind up. Rural area I would like a knockdown and city I would like concrete. Either way prefer some type of Thai architecture and aesthetics. I like my creature comforts of running water, electricity, air conditioning, etc without the bs of the west. Hence the plan to move to Thailand.
Haha…hey man I was only on my first cup of coffee…
Craig how much to you think your neighbor's new house cost roughly?
1.2 million.
trucker got it right...about 1.2mil
Which area do you live?
kamphaengphet...
❤😊😊😊
thanks for watching!
Guess I should know this, but I dont know what area youre located.
KamphaengPhet!
@@unclecraigbaannawk It's beautiful there, I'm planning to retire this year and become an x-pat. Just how bad is the burning season there? Do they spray the rice fields or is it organic?
@@royroy7814 we don’t really have a burn season…occasionally someone might burn if they don’t have money for the hay baler but it’s not a common soil treatment process here…as KPP is known for some of the best soil in the country….spraying is usually done with a Humics green…it’s a Bio fertilizer many products are now organic…
@@unclecraigbaannawk Thats great to hear! Thank you for taking the time. Ill most likely be out your way later this year
I'm paying 1.4 million for 1.25 Rai in the mountains of Chiang Mai. That land is cheap man!
wow....hows the view?...maybe thats what u pay for...land here is both cheap and expensive ...the front roadside nearby is selling 2 rai for 4mil...location location...
