    All I can do now is pray for my husband to have an encounter with my living loving God.
    Thank you for this amazing message

    What a blessing. There are times when it’s sinful to give benevolence to a lazy man... we are working against God when we do this... so many churches are not into secular humanism that we are missing the Great Father’s lessons...

    Why is it when a preacher teaches Biblical truth, the pundit always wants grace mentioned? But when the false preacher talks about grace, no one ever asks where is the truth? Men have a responsibility, God's grace is you are alive and still drawing breath.
    No go and fulfill your responsibilities as a man.

    I read from a rabbi that the words _ish_ and _ishya_ that Adam used bear very symbolic value. While they sound similar, they aren't etymologically related. In fact, they derive from two different roots. _Ish_ comes from a word that means "strength", while _ishya_ derives from a word meaning "weakness". So Adam is literally saying, "She shall be called Weaker, for she was taken out of Stronger." This is a beautiful picture of the roles of a real man and a real woman.

    Maybe not feeding him physically is feeding him spiritually. Have you ever fasted? When you don't have food to rely on and your physical strength goes, your spirit isn't long driving out the world and sending you straight to God. Sometimes, mentoring/feeding someone spiritually, doesn't necessarily mean it won't hurt :) Kinda like when your momma said "I do this 'cos I love you..."

    Yes. Spiritually as well. Jesus points that out in the parable of the sower. Lazy people are not good ground into which you should sow the Word. It is also referenced in the verse "Cast not your pearls before swine." Swine don't appreciate pearls. People who are spiritually lazy will not appreciate spiritual food. It is why so many people refer to Christians as "force-feeding" their beliefs to others. They are swine, they don't want your pearls.

  • @chrisgood2go
    @chrisgood2go 11 років тому +1

    says something about laziness doesn't it. to answer your question, No. The fact that Paul taught the church and gave an example of work unto the lord reflects my answer.

  • @ClothedByGrace
    @ClothedByGrace 12 років тому +2

    Jesus says not to cast your pearls [spiritual truths] before swine [those who have desire to change for God] (Matthew 7:6).
    Now everyone will have an opportunity to accept Jesus before the end comes (Matthew 24:14). Therefore there must be a preacher to peach the Word to them. "How shall they hear without a preacher?" Romans 10:14.
    Therefore it is your duty to preach to everyone, to give everyone an opportunity. But if they become hardened, do not persist: go to someone else...

Do you even know almost ALL of the Black Men in America? Your statement is very polarizing and (yes I’m gonna say it) Racist. Don’t stereotype ALL Black Men because of what you see in the entertainment industry or because of what you see on the street corners. There are myriads of Black Men taking care of business everyday.

    *swine = people who have no desire to change for God.
    For example, when standing before Pilate, a heathen ruler; and Pilate asked Jesus a question; Jesus answered. Jesus gave him light.
    But then Pilate did not want to acknowledge his conviction, and he disregarded the light. So when the second question was asked, Jesus did not answer. And when Herod questioned Him, Jesus ignored his questions -- because the haughty king, who felt no need of a Saviour, could not be benefited by words of life.

      2 Thessalonians 3:10
      For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.
      It would be better to use that money for widows or orphans. Mission to Myanmar has very good reputation for helping orphans.
      Persecution vom for sending Bibles is good too, they smuggle and send Bibles to persecuted Christians around the world who are desperate for the Holy Word.
      If you Bible search orphans you will find endless results, for helping the poor orphans and widows come up the most. They are the most helpless. Thus this should be the greatest emphasis when helping the poor and needy.
      Note too the prodical son repented only when " no man gave unto him".
      Look at it this way would it be a better investment to spend every 5 dollars on a helpless orphan who is being nourished physically and spirutually or 5 dollars on a sloth who refuses to work and lives proudly in sin and refuses to listen to counsel.
      God bless and direct you in helping the poor and needy.

      Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, "I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
      “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
      “The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me

    You know that "Keep the Sabbath" is only 1/2 of the commandment, right? You're forgetting the other half: "Six days shall you labor." No point in keeping the Sabbath if you're not going to spend the other 6 days working your tail off for the Kingdom of God.

    • @adisturbedpistachio223
      @adisturbedpistachio223 7 років тому

      Don't think of the 10 commandments as a list in which each teaching within each commandment must be followed even if a teaching has been nullified. If there is no need for a ceremonial law, it should be removed. Nothing in the NT says that men shouldn't work 6 days in the week.

    To answer your first question, no. Jesus(or Yeshua) is most certainly not a "Greek god of healing," nor does Dr. Baucham say that he is. If indeed he had, that would make him a heretic. Do you not believe that Jesus is who he said he in in scripture? Who is your Saviour?

    Yes, if he was preaching about salvation in a Greek god of healing by the name of Iesous, he would be a heretic. Thankfully, Dr. Baucham said nothing of the sort. So I'll ask again: what in his message was actually false?

  • @Floatie114
    @Floatie114 12 років тому

    What in his message was actually false? Or are you just a fashion critic for Christ?

  • @Floatie114

    Let me guess... Hebrew Israelite? People who trust in the BIBLICAL Jesus Christ for salvation, have been regenerated, and are being indwelled by the Holy Spirit are not automatically worshiping some "sun god" because they use the name Jesus. I suppose you believe all English/Spanish speaking people throughout history who used the name Jesus were lost? Are people not allowed to define which Jesus(according to Paul, there are others) they are talking about before you call them to repentance?

  • @BardOfChristendom
    @BardOfChristendom 12 років тому

    iota eta sigma omicron upsilon sigma - iesus - is the ordinary Greek way to transliterate the name of Jesus/Joshua/Yeshua, the Hebrew name of the Lord. The spelling of His name in various langauges is unimportant; the meaning and understand of Who He is is vital. SO arguing over spellings is unimportant; but your etymology is simply wrong. I read Greek, and the inspired Koine manuscripts use "iesus". The Greek sun God was Apollo.
