I lived in Dundee 30 years ago. I was student in Dundee University. I remember wellgate center, perth road, Hiltown with the multis, Denis road market, The little mosque in Hilltown, Tay river, Brouty Ferry. It was a good time! I still have that scotish accent.
I just visited Dundee today, spent a few hours in the City Center and absolutely loved it! A truly beautiful and welcoming city that I will definitely visit again. For all the people saying it is bad, go to Dunfermline. Now that’s a bad town! Thank you Dundee for a lovely day - I’ll be back!

good video...I'm guessing you went/going to Abertay? :-) You're right though, Dundee is definitely a city waiting to be the place to go for a weekend. In my opinion: demolish the Wellgate and reconnect the Hilltown (demolish most of it and rebuild) to the city centre...not just the watefront.
I lived in Dundee for 20 years some time ago now, for example the buses and trams were painted green. Dundee gave me so many opportunities I could never repay. I have always looked on the city as home.

It's a very nice place and I'm sure you would enjoy the city if you are the type who likes quiet , medieval atmosphere and oh yeah the cost of living is considerably low compared to the rest.

Two universities, a top rated art school, world renowned life sciences and computer games, a famous theatre, one of the UK's leading arts centres and so on. Not everyone is a loser from a scheme with a giant chip on his shoulder.
