"The best of both worlds" - ? Well, here is a most honest and credible arrangement, trying to mate both the "Pièce de Viole" with the "mise en piece de Clavecin" - all in one and the same piece, the majestic / poetic Chaconne - La Morangis ou La Plissay, by Jean-Baptiste Antoine Forqueray. This is one of three pieces with a '*' - marking that it is by 'Junior' - and not by 'Senior' Forqueray (... big question where as to any of the thirty-two pieces really are...) Your playing is impeccable and full of life and gusto - with incredibly, almost 'painfully beatiful moments' - my only reservation is how you have chosen to change the order of variations within the piece, for that is slightly problematic - at least for us, who know it very well and have shared it many times in concerts - sometimes it works 'well' - at other corners, though, it 'needs some getting used to'.. Be as it may - this is certainly really enjoyable!! Bravo!!
Excellent, gallant performance with the best of interplay of the two instruments.
A masterclass on bowing.
Lovely. Bravo Leonardo! Cembalo da spalla...
Bellissimo ! Bravi !
