I grew up in Long Beach CA in the 60's/70's. It is surprising how little has changed since then. The freeways by that time looked almost identical to this. I took my Iranian friend in college for a ride through the freeways, took almost all day never hitting the same one twice, and he was amazed at how huge the city was.
20:24 our first glimpse of LA!! Can't wait to see this in real life, my family and I are going on a cross country road trip next month from NYC to Los Angeles and I'm so excited to get to see this beautiful country.
I have a friend who works at a cable manufacturing company here in California. The company is from Japan and the engineers are sent here to the US for a few years at a time. My friend told me all of them will drive to what ever they want to see for their vacations. It could be Disney World over in Florida or the Smithsonian. He said they won't get another chance to do this again so they drive everywhere. Imagine the population (Over 126 million) of Japan in California that is roughly the population density of Japan. Wide open expanses don't really exist there. I met a fellow student from Japna when I was going to college. He was astounded to see the space between Southern Cal and Northern Cal.
Pins for all the cities/towns because I watch this video way too many times: 0:15: Las Vegas, NV 1:25: Sloan, NV 3:27: Primm, NV 5:29: Halloran Springs, CA 7:22: Baker, CA 11:38: Yermo, CA 12:32: Barstow, CA 15:11: Victorville, CA 15:42: Hesperia, CA 17:47: Fontana, CA 18:22: Rancho Cucamonga, CA 18:52: Ontario, CA 19:33: Montclair, CA 19:47: Claremont, CA 19:51: Pomoma, CA 20:25: Covina, CA 20:36: West Covina, CA 21:07: Baldwin Park, CA 21:17: El Monte, CA 21:35: Rosemead, CA 21:49: Monterey Park, CA 21:59: Alhambra, CA 22:10: Los Angeles, CA Enjoy :)
I live in Temecula, so although it’s not going from L.A to Vegas, it’s definitely similar in terms of both the view, and the time it takes to get there
Been watching so many of these types of videos lately. Did this drive myself (well, not really, cause I don't drive, but I was in the vehicle) Apr 29 2015, and a few times since. I prefer the other way, cause it means ending up in Vegas, but I do love me some LA as well.
0:52 I Live at Blue Diamond Rd, Exit Off Ramp Blue Diamond Rd Right onto Cameron Street, Habaneros Taco Grill New Restaurant. at 1:03 Exit Off Ramp Silverado Ranch Blvd on North I-15
Interstate 15 looks like a scenic freeway in the Mojave desert but I would like the current four lane freeway to be widen between baker and Barstow since traffic is slow on holiday weekends. I wouldn’t advise California State Route 247 since this road’s a single lane highway between Barstow and Lucerne valley without any service. I also don’t like that California state route 247 doesn’t cross over the San Bernardino mountains to banning. I think it’s because the terrain around mount San Gorgonio is too rugged for California state route 247 to cross over to banning.
Can you do a video of you driving in every single state at once? Like the longest video in youtube history. And put it on one 5600000 GB memory card. And add titles to the whole thing... render that... that should take you the next 45 years
The traffic between LA and Vegas really puts the traffic on the Bruce Highway here in Australia to shame. My God, is that traffic terrible with the constant risk of dying because of so many idiots pulling or slowing down right in front of you with no indication to let you know what they're doing.
Lol. You drove from airport to airport. You should do a video of driving to the los vegas airport, the flight to los angeles airport, and then driving from the los angeles airport back to the las vegas airport :p
It never gets old for fun trips from.Las Vegas NV to Los Angeles CA

Very good, liked seeing the Las Vegas Airport. Maybe someday you could make a regular speed drive in and around the Las Vegas Airport.
I know this is 7 years later but you can set the speed to 0.25 which will help. Let's see if you still get this.

The video does blends well with the Techno mix. Nice mix!
I love and miss LA but I don't miss those backed up freeways, especially the 405. Go Dodgers!
Outstanding job once again!
I've done this trip before. It was beautiful.
2019 Anybody
16:52-16:55 I like trains.
So do I at 12:35
They added another California inspection area near primm
They did back in 2018 or 2019 and the old one in Yermo got removed
I think the first time we drove through it was July 7, 2019
@@r4ls3i60 can confirm. Did a drive in November 2019 and there was an agricultural inspection area around the state border.
Watching this because we can't go out in quarantine :P Great video though!
O fluxo de carros aí é enorme. Aqui no Brasil tem um carro aqui, outro ali, depois outro lá longe kkk
26:11 Orange Lamborguini in the right.
It’s a Lamborghini, you idiot.

Crazy traffic!!!
+Chadwick Mikel Man this is normal in U.S.A
+lMatheusx In the cities of the U.S.A it's normal. It's not as close as it is here in Indiana.
SP34K3R M4N a.k.a Hunter Stewart India?

Love that part in Covina where you can see Downtown LA. I do have to say I'd rather hurt myself than live in California though
Why?

Did you know 71 north end is 57 freeway and 10 freeway
Yes
I can see the San Gabriel Mountain if you are in 15 south and really at the south
Lol. You drove from airport to airport. You should do a video of driving to the los vegas airport, the flight to los angeles airport, and then driving from the los angeles airport back to the las vegas airport :p
Los Angeles international airport you ment?
LA traffic makes Sydney traffic look not so bad.
OMG!!!!! 27:00 The Movie Home billboard!!!!!!!

What’s up with the porno music?
I find this video depressing! Living in Los Angeles when I'm taking the 15 South from Las Vegas it only means one thing for me. IT'S TIME TO GO HOME!
jeffery mcgee Yes and before I would make that drive back home, as a means of motivation, I would tell myself "I'll be back!".
