- HEYO! This was requested and I didn't include it in my other vlog because of how long it was! But regardless, here it is, a 3-Person Run-through of Carolina Crown's 2015 program "INFERNO" performed by Christin, Nick, and Sally! This was at Bentonville High School in Bentonville, Arkansas.
I so want to be a part of this guard. They're so talented

ugh what the heck do you need to do to get to this level i am struggling with just tossing a 45 lol im done. slayed. Sally Ware snatched my edges
Mermaid Motel yeah 45s suck. My band had one in our show this year so we all had to know how to do them. It was the main toss we always practiced and always worked on but after doing it so many times we just got used to it. It took me like a week of constant practice doing it to get my 45.

Had a 45 in one of our routines for our spring concert (we do guard performances for concert). It was new to most people, so it was a struggle to learn. I got it down maybe 2 weeks before the concert, and then we re-weighted the flags so they would be correctly weighted. Instantly loss all coordination for the toss, because the flag felt much heavier and I couldn't flick it right.
The Crown guard has my heart!!! Thinking of auditioning next year! Super excited and I honestly can't wait. Thanks for posting!!!!

hey Paul! I was just wondering, how do you guys weigh your flag poles? like what weights do you put in the top and bottom?
anyone know or have an educated guess as to what kind of fabric is used for the "fire" that the dancers use in P1?

Lol. They're wearing beige gloves(like a tan color) but when you practice a lot they get dirty real quick! We always clean them on laundry days though

L CARLTON actually all of the guard members do a required three person run through at some point in the season so they can get personal feedback

+epicreader123 We are a part of Carolina Crown and we're doing are own parts. We do it to provide personal feedback for everyone. Everyone in the colorguard does a 3-person run at some point :)

What kind of rifles does Crown use?
Mariah Rogers crown uses DSI rifles 37.5 inches(a 39 inch gun with the tip cut off) but if you want to have your own I would suggest King Rifles
Oh wow, why do you guys cut the tip?
they figured that a 39" looks to big on shorter people(like me) and a 36" would be to small for taller people so having a 37.5" gun looks fine for everyone
