James yellow belt grading highlights

Base Monkey SAMBO (internal) grading white to yellow.
In December James became Base Monkey Sambo's first student to earn their yellow belt.
Note all rounds are 5 minutes.
Held over two nights the first included a demonstration of breakfalls, take downs, holds and submissions followed by two rounds of each sports and combat SAMBO. Then a final round of sports SAMBO with one of his arms bound.
The second night had further demonstrations of throws, holds and submissions as well as strikes and escapes. He then completed a further two rounds of each combat and Sport SAMBO before donning gloves again and being jumped from behind by two other students.
Finally he completed a 20 minute shark tank - for those that don't know this is when for a continuous 20 minutes he fought a new opponent (to the take down), as soon as a take down was achieved by either a new opponent came in.
