Ohio Trains December 1991-February 1992

Lots of Conrail. Mostly taken in the Columbus, Cleveland, and Cincinnati areas.The end in particular was taken in Cincinnati, with some of the NS action coming across the river in Ludlow and Crescent Springs, KY.

1st shot is Pickerington, Ohio on the Conrail, Norfolk Southern and now Kanawha River Railroad West Virginia Secondary. The crossing now has gated signals

This era for me is a favorite rail fanning/modeling period. No Graffiti or Tags...older locomotive pre merger paint schemes weathered and rusted up.

Buckeye yard here is completely gone now. I lived in Springfield during the Conrail years and there was a lot of traffic along the Dayton District. It went down significantly after Buckeye was mothballed.
