Offsets mokers are the way to go, i love mine and it performs well all year round.
I agree entirely. I wouldn't chose any other peice of kit over an offset!
British bbq? I'm from Texas, I went to London for half a day and I have a story about ribs and my trip to London.
Hello sir! Thanks for the sub! Yeah, barbecue just isn't here in the UK properly yet. I've never been to a smokehouse in the UK where they actually cook with actual wood which is such a shame. I try to recreate my barbecue as authentically and analogue as possible. I source my own wood, butcher my own meat. As it should be!
I feel like there could have been more rain 😄
I was genuinely lowkey brickit it. The heavens opened about 20 mins after I finished recording
Maybe use real cheese and not fake garbage, great video though! shame most the food in this video is cheap and not butchers e.t.c and high meat quality and such!
Hay bud, cheers for the feedback! Perhaps you might like my other videos which all have a specific focus on using regional butchers and heritage beef and vegetables? (This basics video was very much designed with your average beginner in mind! Surprised a gourmet like yourself didn't take issue with using briquettes!)
Not everything needs to be expensive and over the top. Some people like to grill everyday.
tesco seacroft. are you a local lad ?
Just planning on buying my first offset, where you get the wood from ?
Hay man, cheers for the message
I was local until I moved a year ago, I now cause a flaming neusence in Salford but my heart will always be in Yorkshire
Good on you for looking into pickup up an offset! Genuinely the most fun and exciting way to cook outdoors IMHO. I can definitely advise on wood but it depends on the size of the smoker you go for. Amazon do kiln-dried chunks which are ideal for smaller rigs like my biloxi. I've got a few recommendations for companies that sell bigger splits if you are looking at a bigger bit of kit
