Terry is such a wonderful interviewer, so intelligent, so concise, so focused and so compassionate. And though obviously she has lived a life of great faith, she has never stood in judgment of others or being holier-than-thou. And she has through the decades remained beautiful.

she is beautiful inside out. Maybe she was born in america but in her mind in her soul and in her spirit she will be always a Filipino with a Golden Heart. If she were born in the Philippines maybe she could be the 3rd Filipina Miss Universe, a First Pinay Miss World, a fifth Filipina Miss International or the First Pinay Miss Earth

The Priest lied to this wonderful lady. He wanted them to feel better. But feeling better is not healing. He should have directed them to a man of God, who could point them to Jesus instead of lying to them. Please no one must take their own life. No matter whAt trust God to deal with it. He will turn your life around. Hell is worse than the world.
I think it is foolish of any person to declare what God will do to anyone for any reason. As humans we have only the tiniest insight into the mind of God and we certainly are not His spokesman. The great faith healer Katherine Kuhlmann said that when healings began in her services, she was very confused because some religious and holy people weren't getting results, but some atheists were. But in the end it humbled her because she realized we are not God and we don't judge as God does.
wayne you are right when you say God is all-loving, but our choices and decisions sent us to Hell or Heaven. God's gift of freewill to us gives us the power to choose our path. So this guy, who committed suicide will not be going to Heaven because of Thou Shall Not Murder in the Ten Commandments. He murdered himself and that is a sin. God is the same now, then and way back when. He never changed, we as a society changed. We need to fall back inline with Him and repent. God Bless.

Gotta say this is NO GOOD information. It is tremendous, but Blible doesn't say that those who commit suicide are going to find mercy on the other side. Again, I'm sorry if this hurts anybody's feelings, but you'd rather know the TRUTH before you even think on commiting suicide. Now, if you look for JESUS, He has all the answers, He has a porpuose for your life, He can give you free forgiveness and a brand new life while there's still time. There's hope and you can only find it in HIM
If he had been born again at some point in his life, he is in Heaven. God doesn't like suicide, but if you are saved, you never lost that. Even people who died from drugs are in Heaven. Once saved, always saved. God doesn't take back His salvation.
Why would an all-loving God condemn a person who in the deepest despair took him or her life to everlasting torment? There is simply no logic in it, and there is no small viciousness in declaring other people will go to Hell for this reason or that reason but you won't because you have lived in God's eyes a perfect life. Beware of anyone who uses any religion to condemn others of any religion to everlasting Hell. They don't have any such power.
The Word of God says there is one unpardonable sin.. That is the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, and that can only mean the rejecting the Holy Spirit, thus salvation. Since the Word of God says many times that the through Jesus and Jesus alone we get to heaven, and those who do not accept Him will go to hell. The Word is consistent and it says to study to show yourself approved. The Catholic church, where I was raised as well, decided that those who took their lives were the one going to hell. But there is nothing in the Word of God that says that. And even if you break the 10 commandments and are saved you are still going to heaven. Says the Word of God. Salvation alone through Jesus not works. As a counselor I am well aware of the lost and psychotic place people get when they try suicide. There is no way my and your loving God would turn away a person like that, that is saved..anymore then He would turn away a retarded person who could not grasp the God idea.

Actually, Christian just means you believe in Jesus Christ. Catholics were the first Christians and then they eventually split off into different sects. . All Catholics are Christian, but not all Christians are Catholic.
You cannot have a relationship with God unless you go through Jesus first. A lot of people and denominations bypass JESUS, but JESUS is the only way to God. Also, God does not bring us to anything bad. We live in a fallen world and the devil is real, and he comes to kill, steal and destroy. Only through JESUS can you be healed, delivered and set free of demonic influence.

So people who commit suicide go to hell? I bet that is what she is wondering.
I heard a near death experience wherr someone saw a person in heaven that commited suicide. And I think Jesus or an angel (I forgot) told the person visiting heaven, that some people are ill in there body and some people are ill in there mind. So they simply made a mistake.
Also I know personally if you are christian and you commit suicide you are forgiven because you are already forgiven and sins are always covered by the blood of christ
