- The Cleveland Markets have been a part of the community for over 30 years and I remember visiting them as a little girl. I become a regular of these markets in 2015 and you will find me there every Sunday (rain, hail or shine) from 7am to 1pm.
Today I am going to take you along and show you what goes into setting up my market stall plus I will take you for a walk through them.
Thank you for watching

Your set up is FANTASTIC! Wow, that's a lot of work, and you nailed it!
Thank you 🧡
Sophisticated yet appealing and simple! I have learned a lot just watching this video. I plan to rewatch again and again, as we have never done an "event" yet, but this will certainly have lots of tips and tricks that will help when we can do one. Thanks! You're the bomb.
Thank you 🧡 happy this can help
I always assumed your husband helped you with the market. Absolutely blown away by how much that took to set up - and by yourself!! I'd need a nap after that. Wow. Thank you for showing us that it can be done.
Thank you for watching 🧡 hubby works full time and does shift work so he is often at work when I'm at markets. If he has the day off and the weather is bad, he does help pack down
@@SoyandShea you are the definition of a "super woman💪!"
Yup, your secret is now out... You're secret identity is Wonder Woman and there's no convincing me otherwise now lol It's truly a lovely spot to visit from what you've shown, thank you :)
😆 now everyone knows 😆 I just love what I do. I would much rather do this than go to a regular 9-5 job.
@@SoyandShea I'm glad you're able to do what you love so much. It definitely shows through in your vids even on days when you are tired, the passion still shines through and it's marvelous to witness :)
I agree...Wonder Woman for sure!! 🦸♀️
@@SoyandShea you mean a JOB(JUST OVER BROKE) Lol
OMG I am exhausted just watching you. Thank you for taking us on your setup, it’s great 💖
Thank you for watching 🧡
Respect for how well that little trailer is packed!
It does hold a lot when packed right. 🧡 I don't know what I'd do without it
WOW Keeley, I am so grateful; thank you for sharing with us and being an example that this can be done. May all your efforts, long hours and hard work pay off for you. Be encouraged!!!
Thank you 🧡 you can definitely do anything you set your mind too
That little storage container is like mary poppins bag 😂 so much stuff fit in there!
😆 believe it or not, this wasn't even full. At Christmas I can only just shut the door. It's like a giant jigsaw to get it in all right
@@SoyandShea my niece lives in Melbourne..sorry it took me so long to get back to you .been a bit busy!
You have an impressive setup! It’s very organized and positioned to allow room to browse! It’s a lot of work to set up, especially trying to position the camera as well! Great job! Blessings 🤗
Thank you 🧡 I'm very lucky with my space. I had to alter my set up last year to allow for more browsing space.
@@SoyandShea is this an on going market that you set up at or? Do you have children or family to help you in between shows and your website orders to help you fulfill all the orders packaging etc? Very impressed I must say!
This is a weekly market and I am there every week. I have been doing them for over 5 years now.
It's just me running the business. My husband works full time but he does do the occasional thing like a post office run if he's home and I am busy but otherwise I do all the tasks.
OMG! I do the farmer's market with only one tent and I'm worn-out from that! You have a lot of energy for sure! You have a lot of products to sell! Fantastic setup and wonderful looking products!
Thank you 🧡 it's been a long time since I could fit in a single tent 😆
@@SoyandShea I do understand that from just looking at all your wonderful products! Much Love!
Oh my I am exhausted just watching this video. You are awesome. You make it look easy, but I know that is a tremendous amount of work all alone.
I've been doing markets for 8 years now so have had a lot of practise 😆 it's a lot of work but it's worth the reward
So lovely to see your set up. That looks a fabulous market. You look like you’ve got your set up totally honed...I wonder how long it took you to get everything so streamlined 😁. Lots of fabulous touches with everything being flat packable, and those display shelves your dad made are a wonderful space saving and effective idea. Thank you for sharing this 💕
Thank you 🧡 having OCD tendencies, I got into the swing of things quickly. It's when unexpected things happen or if it's raining that things go wrong. It was pure fluke that dad made the shelves the way he did.
@@SoyandShea
Whew girl! And then at the end of the day.....take everything and pack up, and put away. Goodness. I have to give you credit in the triples. I am sure you are done in after getting home. But I admire how you have got it all down pat, efficient and well organized. I love it!
Cheers and Blessings 💕💕
Thank you 🧡 the silly thing is I get home ready to collapse and I get a second wind and want to do more 😆
@@SoyandShea 😂..think I definitely met my match ..Iam the same way...just need a bit of a breather and then I'm good to go for another round....I always find something I forgot to do or need to do...I always try to prep for the next project....try to be efficient and preventative as possible! You're truly an inspiration for sure..I'll be fortunate once I get going to be having my momma be coming on board with me to help me out....she has lots of connections for ingredients etc..so definitely be a load off my shoulder! She's already got the natural fragrance perfumes formulated!
I would have fallen over before even getting the third tent up. I loved see this. Think you need a helper.
I'm a nightmare to work with 😆 to controlling 😆😆
@@SoyandShea I met my match 😂
@@SoyandShea so how did you do that day?
I had a great day at the market but I don't look at markets as an individual day - I average it out over time.
Amazing. I have never been able to sell at the markets as I don't drive. Getting a tend and stock there would be a nightmare and I don't have anyone to help.
So proud of you for getting out there Keeley. Well done
Thank you 🧡 I've had a lot of car upgrades over the years to do this. I used to fit it all in a Honda CRV, then went to using hubby's Ute then invested in a trailer. I started doing markets before online as I didn't realise how this would grow.
@@SoyandShea youre fortunate to have your father around to help you and him being supportive of you being self employed!
Oh wow- what a beautiful set up. I’m assuming you make enough profits to make it worth it. ♥️
Thank you 🧡 Markets have always been my main form of income. Apart from the site fee, you don't get all the extra fees that come with website sales
Kudos to you Keeley, I could never do this amount of set up and pack down each week for only a couple of hours of trading. You obviously have it down to a fine science now in your routine of setting up (and packing up), full credit to you for having such a lovely stall, everything looks very professional. 🤩🤩
Thank you 🧡 it does help that this is a 6 hour market so worth the set up time.
Wow! Keeley, this beautiful farm's market! OMG! That a lot of hard worked, I hope your make a lot of money today. Well done! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you 🧡 it is a wonderful market and had been a significant part of the community for many years. It's an honour to be part of it
So impressed with you, and your business.
You work so hard. Wishing you all the success, from the USA.
Thank you 🧡 I feel so lucky to do what I love
Wow I really admire your work ethics!♥️ I don't know if I would be able to do all that by myself every week.🤦♀️🤷♀️ You're amazing and very inspirational. I would love to know how well you do at the markets?
Thank you 🧡 I do love what I do and it's very rewarding. I do well at markets but its taken a few years to get to the point I'm at now.
What a wonderful video! You are really hardworking, doing everything by yourself! This is really inspiring, thank you for sharing. And I love how your market shop looks like, it's really well stocked!!
Thank you 🧡 I do love what I do
I am one of the lucky people who has visited these markets and been to Keeley's stall. It is WONDERFUL !!!
Thank you for supporting me 🧡
You are so much better organized than I was when I was doing the Faire circuit. How long does it take you to set up? (I was doing Renaissance, Medieval and 'Faerie' faires so I had canvas with wood poles - 16' x 26' that I could put up myself only if the wind wasn't blowing!) Oh, duh - I just saw - 1.5 to 2 hours. That's great for the amount of stock you carry! Kind of makes me want to get out there again. Maybe when we're all vaccinated.
Your renaissance fairs look so great! We don't get anything like them round here. 🧡
Wow I love how organised you have everything! Absolutely fantastic set-up. Thinking I might come up from the Gold Coast this Sunday and have a better look.
The boxes you pulled your soap out of, did the have inbuilt dividers in them or did you make them yourself?
Thank you 🧡 the boxes I use with the dividers are from The Reject Shop. They come with 3 divider panels so you get 4 sections. I just make sections the size I want
Wow! That was really interesting! I am amazed by how much work that is--and you made it look easy! Thanks for showing us--and for confirming to me that if my soapmaking ever goes from a hobby to a business, I will be doing it online only. :D
Thank you 🧡 It is a lot of work but very rewarding too.
I loved this video! I've been so curious to see your market set up. You are such a hard worker! Thank you for sharing this.
Jeanne @HarvestHerbals
Thank you for watching 🧡
Your little shopping baskets are GENIUS.
I have to keep a close eye on them 😆 the kids love them
You're amazing! What a beautiful open-air stall you have. I am shocked at how much you were able to pack into the tiny trailer.
Thank you 🧡 it's like a jigsaw puzzle. At Christmas, I can fit even more in 🤣
Girl, you are really something. We used to do markets but there is no way I could do it all. You are fabulous to have so much variety of items. I love the trailer. We should have done that ourselves. Great job!
Thank you 🧡 I got the trailer about 4 year as ago after I got fed up of packing and emptying the car every weekend. Best investment I made
You are such a hard worker!
And physically strong!
I salute you👍
Thank you 🧡
You are so amazing and I truly appreciate you!!! I have had a t-shirt booth before but wanted to do my bath and beauty products at markets but was hesitant about doing it. What do you think is a good amount of product to take with me so that I don't look empty?
Thank you 🧡 the amount you take is dependent on so much. At this time of year I take less so it's not too heat affected and it's a quiet time of year. For winter and Christmas I take much more. It also depends on the size of your displays and how much you can fit. Do a trial run by setting up a display at home and see what looks good
Absolutely love it..similar to our street markets here in Nevada ( US)
Thank you for watching 🧡
Being a person who attended and created for markets, I enjoyed watching you set up !!! This was very relaxing tonight. Thanks for sharing this!!!
Thank you 🧡
Your space is just beautiful! I’m so jealous of all your space! I used to have a space one or two days a week in a hotel lobby when I lived in Maui. We were allowed two 6’ tables. The challenge was how to fit as much as possible and still make it look nice.😁 The big Craft Fairs with a full 10’x10’ tent, while a lot more work, was so liberating with all the space. Your space is heaven!💖🥰
I'm definitely lucky to have all the space. I can't do it with just a single tent anymore
You are amazing Keeley, such a hard working woman, and a huge inspiration. Thank you for taking us along x
Thank you 🧡
Lol I am so amazed that your tiny trailer can hold that much stuff! Your space looks absolutely amazing, thank you so much for sharing and take care. Leanne💕
It's like a jigsaw. Everything has its place or it won't fit. At Christmas I can fit a lot more in it 😆
thank you so much for taking up along to market! it was great to see the process of setting up a stall and another thanks for the bonus easy breaky recipe at the end!
Thank you for watching! In winter, I put my oats in the pot and then fill with boiled water. By the time I'm set up, I have hot porridge 😊
Hello Keeley, I'm really happy you have your own shop now. You really are AWESOME!!! You put a lot of work into your Market. Now you have your own shop and you do not have to do all of this work. Congratulations again on your shop. I'm sure you are very happy now.
Thank you 🧡 all the market handwork is over but some new hardwork is ahead
@@SoyandShea Good morning Keeley, you will do just fine. You are a hardworking lady and all of your products are going to fly off of your shelves in the shop. You will do exceptionally. Have an AWESOME Day Keeley!!!
I am exhausted just watching you. You're are the real Wonder Women. I love everything the way you set up the products. Where do you get the tent wall? Thanks :)
Thank you 🧡 you can pick up the walls at any supply places that sell the gazebos. Usually camping shops
@@SoyandShea Thank you :)
Thank you so much for sharing this. I got a few ideas to freshen up my own stand here in Colorado!

I'll be coming to Colorado in a few months to work on a few humanitarian projects maybe we can meet up for coffee or lunch!
Thanks for sharing that Keeley, much appreciated 🤗
Thank you for watching 🧡
Where did you get your display shelves? I love them.
A lot of work goes into your set-up! I hope people appreciate all the effort you put into your products and set-up.
I can’t believe you look after/watch the whole place alone.
It's a lot of work, but I do love it. Putting up the walls helps me watch the stall but for the most part people are great.
@@SoyandShea do you have to buy the screens/shades separately or does it come with the tent covers?
The tents come with the roof but all the other parts are extras you can purchase.
Wow....BIG MARKET!!!! Thanks for sharing your market set up!
It's such a great market. It was a little light on due to it being a long weekend. This week's should be busier
I love this setup! This is amazing!
Thank you 🧡
Now this was quite impressive my dear! How I wish we could find this type of market in my town. How far do you drive to reach this market?
Thank you 🧡 this is only about 20 minutes drive (15mins first thing in the morning).
Wonderful lady...you wear the most honorable market set-up crown ever👑!! I bow down to you for your amazing energy and talent in setting up your beautiful professional booth area! Your utility cart is a genius idea, I had the thought of Santa's mysterious toy bag...things just keep coming out of it as everyone sits in wonder of how it all fit in there, lol. You're an amazing woman to do all that without a helper, I kept wondering when one was going to show up, like right at first when you were setting up the 1st tent. My hat is off to you, and I truly appreciate you sharing the whole operation. Your ideas and expertise of it all are genius and amazing! Best wishes for your efforts and beautiful products to pay off there. You're a star!! 🤩

😱 hard working woman! 🤦. I am exsosted Just to watch You working 😂 . beautiful !set up❤️
Thank you 🧡
You are so hard working Keeley! Look how far you've come! Hard work pays off. I think you are amazing ❤
Thank you 🧡 it's great to see it all come together
I do not miss this. At. All. I think most people have no idea the amount of hard work there is in setting up and breaking down a market stall. One market I'm just going to rock up at your stall and freak you out 😁
I'd love that! It's funny - I did miss doing the markets when they closed last year for 8 weeks but I also look forward to the day I have my own shop
OMG I can't believe you spend all that time doing this yourself. That's so crazy ! But looks lovely! Awesome and the food looks so delicious!
I love e doing it! It's so rewarding to see people's reactions when shipping. There are so many great food stalls
Impressive! I only do occasional markets with 1 10 x 10 & I’m exhausted. You are very efficient! I hope to do more this year though 🤞
Thank you 🧡 gone are the days of one small tent for me 😆
That is a cute trailer. I'm not sure I could do 4:30am... 😴 I was up until 3am last night/this morning...
Luckily I'm more of a morning person than a night owl. The trailer has been such a great investment
I wish I could have been there to help you set up! That’s a hell of a job 😱 Amazing 👍👏👏👏
Oh no you don't 😆 I'm terrible to work for. I'm a little OCD about things 🤣🤣
Oh my goodness, WOMAN!! I'm so stinkin' proud of ya! Whew...you're like me...organized (and OCD comes in handy here...LOL!) Love your setup and SO appreciate video. Hugz, Tree
(PS - My house is decorated in orange and black with Harley Davidson themed deco, so I love your business colors! My business colors are pink and black and a tiny bit of a Paris theme.)
Thank you 🧡 yes being OCD can have its advantages though it drives my family mad.
Its funny that your logo is different to your decor colours. I'm all about purples but orange is slowly sneaking in
In the U.S. you would never walk away from your stall, everything would get stolen. No one is wearing masks?
That's sad 😔 theft is around but for the most part, people are good.
We've got no community cases of covid here so Masks are optional.
Thank you so much for sharing and making this video! You have gave me ideas for uping my farmers markets. It is a lot of work. I love your set-up! You are so organized! Thank you!!!!
Thank you for watching 🧡 It is a lot of hard work but can be so rewarding too
Wow. You really have that setting up to a science. Loved watching this video. Thank you.
Thank you 🧡 I've had a lot of practise over the last 8 years 😆
Is this current? No masks? Great idea BTW. My husband and I have been talking about doing a time lapse of our set up too. We just keep forgetting. I'm not a morning person. lol
Yes this video is current - filmed the weekend before publishing. I'm in Australia and where I am, we have no community cases so we don't have to wear masks.
Your markets are beautiful. Our little market in Bonners Ferry Idaho is wonderful, but this is amazing. We have snow right now but I am looking forward to some warm sunny days again. Your stand is amazing. Thank you for sharing it with us. ❤
Thank you 🧡 this market definitely holds a special place for most locals. Not sure I could cope with markets in the snow
First of all...Who put a thumbs down and for what....this right here is hands down the best set up I have seen.Ive been running my company for 3years and do vendor spots also. This right here was an awesome video to watch!!!
Thank you 🧡 so pleased you enjoyed it
I totally thoroughly enjoyed that video. You are a warrior woman! Setting everything up alone, i could never. Hands down your set up is the best there! Id like to know a bit about your diet etc. You always mention you go to gym and go for walks. And i saw your breakfast was minimal. You have lost so much weight...a journey im struggling to undertake.
Thank you for watching 🧡
The breakfast I make for market looks small but has lots of slow release foods which keeps me energised till lunch.
The biggest piece of advise I give to people when trying to lose weight is to look at it as trying to make life style changes and do one thing at a time until it becomes part of daily life. I started by getting an exercise routine in place and then slowly made changes to my food until it became natural
Really enjoyed watching your set up and tour. Everyone is always curious about other parts of the world. Your market is very similar to our markets.
Thank you 🧡 I love seeing how other countries run markets and events.
I am astounded over the fact that you have so many products, and the set-up was so great! It is obvious you have been doing this before. This is truly an inspiration, and I enjoyed how you managed to make it look so sleek and beautifull and clutter free! Love the displays, the tables, the colors and everything. Thank you for sharing! I will watch this video again and learn from it as I have gotten my soaps assessed and want to attend a market one day and get my feet wet when it comes to try this out soon! Well done, I hope you will do well in years to come! All the best from Mo in Norway💐
Thank you 🌸 I attended markets weekly for 10 years so I got a lot of practise 😆 all the best with your journey, it's a lot of fun
Thank you for sharing that! That market is awesome and your set up is fantastic. We have tiny markets around here 10-15 vendors at most. Nothing even close to what you have. I hope you had a great day full of sales!
Thank you 🧡 it's a great market and a good size. We get smaller ones as well as much bigger ones. This one has a lot of regular customers
You are so organised and have such a great setup for in such a compact trailer! Amazing work!
Thank you 🧡 I'm a little OCD about things like that. The trailer is like a jigsaw and at Christmas I get much more in. I usually have a table of gift packs too
Thank you for sharing, it is very interesting to see how much work it actually is to set up for a market.
Thank you for watching 🧡 this is definitely only a fraction of what goes into it. There is lots of prep work to make sure you have enough stock 🧡
Gosh what hard work setting that lot up on your own. I would love to know where you got your gazebos and other equipment from please. I bought a table from Bunnings and it looks similar to yours with the bigger pull out legs but it was so heavy i found it hard to upright it on my own so I sold it.
I used to set myself up in markets in Tasmania, but honestly it was exhausting. Well done, you have everything down pat! 🤗🥰🥂
My tables are the lifetime ones from Bunnings. They do have some weight to them but not to bad. You need good sturdy tables to hold the weight of the products. I use the Oztrail tents which can be picked up at most camping stores like BCF, Tentworld etc. I usually google Oztraik gazebo and see who has the best deal. The Marquee tents at Bunnings are made by Oztrail too. The tents are much heavier than the tables weighing over 20kg for the small ones.
Your little trailer just keeps giving I was watching thinking how does all of that fit in there lol what a great set up you’ve got there... I hope tomorrow’s market does you well 💛🌈🌼
Thank you 🧡 it's like a jigsaw puzzle. Everything has its place. I can fit even more in it over Christmas 😆 best investment I made
Wow! Goals! So inspiring and so gorgeous!
I make all my own body care products, my family and friends love them and continue to encourage me to start a business so I’m now going in deep understanding preservatives, my products must be entirely natural and organic. Any suggestions?
Thank you for this video, greatly appreciate your energy!
Have fun with your journey.
Sorry no suggestions on natural and organic as this is not my forte but it can be done. Follow Formula Botanica as they specialise in natural formulations
Wow that's alot of work. Looks awesome. Seeing myself doing something like that in the future. Hats off to you
Thank you 🧡 hope you get to do it one day too. It's a lot of fun
Absolutely amazing and efficient set up done by one person. You don't have anyone to help you?
Thank you 🧡 my husband works full time and usually works on a Sunday so I had to do it myself. Plus I'm a bit OCD about things so easier to do it myself 😆
Oh my goodness I had little idea what went in to setting up a market stall, you look so organised and to think you do that every week then of course pack it all away at the end of the day you must be exhausted I bet your back let’s you know it’s there too, because I am just watching. I will be more appreciative next time I go to Salamanca market here in Hobart. Well done I hope you sold lots.
I often get asked what time I get to markets and so many are surprised that I'm there 2 hours before it starts.
Hi, can I ask where you got your trailer from or what it’s called, I have been looking for one like it for ages but cannot find one although I am in Victoria?
Hi, sorry your comment fell into the spam folder 😥 but I know we've been messaging about the trailer
Wow! That was fun to watch. You're very organized with your set up process. Now I've got to ask... will you do a video of the take down? I would love to watch how you get all that put away in less time than it takes to set up!
Thank you 🧡 No packing up sorry. It goes away quicker because usually there is less to pack away.
Did that sign say 'Best poos ever' ?? You must be exhausted after setting that all up and then to carefully break it down at the other end as well. Good work you!
🤣🤣 I was waiting for someone to mention it 🤣🤣 they have fibre rich foods
It's alot of work but I love it
Thanks for showing us the market. You are a lille dynamo setting up!
Thank you 🧡
Wow I never imagined that. You sure are a hard worker. Much success to you❤️
Thank you 🧡
💕❤️💕✨ You are just amazing!!!!! ✨💕❤️💕
Thank you 🧡 I love what I do so it makes it easy
What a nice a nice farmer's market. It is just amazing your huge set up and that you do it single handed. I set up one summer and then have not been able to sell at any markets or bazaars because of the Covid. I do not know what this summer will bring but watching your market makes me hope I can do it again.
It is a lovely market and I missed it when we were In lockdown. Hopefully yours will be up and running again soon. 🧡
These are really nice gazebo tents and being a one person tent makes it easier to set up. You have the best position in the market I think as people see your setup coming in and leaving. Once you get a good rhythm going I'm betting it was a lot harder in the early days when you first started with such a large setup. I love your wooden shelves and how well they fold down and set up so easily. Does your husband come along to help you sometimes? This is a beautiful market, markets down here are full of second had clothes and home and garage nicnaks. I would love to visit a market like this I know I would spend lots of money here.
I love the Oztrail tents. They're pretty easy to put up and every working part of the tent can be bought as a spare so if a bit breaks you only need to by the bit. When I first started I only had one small tent
Hubby works full time and is often at work when I'm at markets. When he does have a Sunday off, he'll help if the weather turns bad but usually he stays home and cleans
Thank very much, very interesting👍
Thank you for watching 🧡
Wow ! That is a LOT of work ! You must sleep well after market night !
I most definitely do! Mainly because sleep the night before is light (in case I over sleep 😆)
Do you ever have any problems with your products getting too hot?
I occasionally have issues with my melts but not the rest
Wow Wow!! 😳, I had to watch that twice, very impressive 👌
Thank you 🧡
Looks lovely. I’d need a Nanna nap after all that setting up 😂😂 Great sized space, looks amazing. 👌👌👌
Thank you 🧡 I'm very lucky with my space.
I love the way you set up your site. My husband is a carpenter and this give me ideas. I love the tiered wood stand. I hope we can do this soon here in the US. I love outdoor show than indoor. Thanks for sharing.
Outdoor markets are always nicer. They have a great atmosphere. By fluke, my dad built the shelves so they sit nicely over the folded tables saving space
great video Keeley, thanks for sharing!
Thank you for watching 🧡
Wow, you have got this down to a tee. It must be a big day for you. Thank you.
It is a big day but I love it. 🧡
Never mind! 😁
Loved watching! I always feel that I take so long to set up and I only have 1 tent with 2 tables - that takes me 1 hour sometime more if I’m on the go slow for some reason! Thanks for sharing, it’s fantastic to see Australian videos like this that we can all relate to.
I completely get what you mean. I have taken longer if I'm in go slow mode or chat too much 😆
