Thank you for your videos. One doubt. Can I import fanuc arm in roboguide, arrange it in my required orientation AND THEN DOWNLOAD AS IGES/STEP basically CAD file to open in CAD software??

Timothy, thank you very much for this video, can you please tell me what to do with elements in an array, such as a pipe board, where the number of pipes can be more than a hundred. Would I really have to have a program for each pipe?

If they are equally spaced, save one point and use offsets

I have problem. When I import my part file into roboguide it only shows the coordinates system for the part I imported and not the 3D model of part . Is there a step I might be missing?

Hi Tim, thanks for the video. how would you setup the program for this kind of application to be able to just touch up one point (starting point) and have everything else offset accordingly. when going from Roboguide to real application the part distance might not be perfect, to be able to compensate for that.
    thanks

A couple of ways to do this. Position register for points and a coordinated position register used for offsets. You touch up the position register and change the offset coordinates to what it needs to be. The other way is to program shift the points. Hopefully have a video on that soon.
      Hopefully this helps

HI, Timoty. Your video is of great help to me because I am trying to search in robotguide what I can do in ABB robotstudio and autopath is a function that I have always used a lot. I would ask you if it is possible to receive the file of the part used to obtain the profile. Thank you

Can you explain how to use the cad to path for chamfer application?
In the instance that robot is holding the part and needs to follow the profile path against a chamfering tool

      Awesome
I will make a video in the future with cad to path with robot holding part and a fixture is stationary.
In the mean time here is a link to Adam willea’s video. This video does I think exactly what you are looking for.
