So - do you like the SFO airport better than Melbourne? I love SFO because I live in the area but I also watch the Melbourne plane spotting. Really like this video because there are so many different planes and out of all of them Lufthansa was the easiest to spot because of the ‘old’ livery. Their new livery would have just blended in. Just my opinion.
I really like SFO. I think when compared to Melbourne, the aircraft and airline diversity is much better at SFO but i prefer the spots at Melbourne because SFO is very limited for filming angles. Not a huge fan of Lufthansa's new livery either, less and less colour these days :(
What airline do you fly when you come from Melbourne? Also, isn’t it a 14 some hour flight? But I guess the change of scenery makes it worthwhile. By the way I do like your videos very much.
This was filmed on top of one of the carparks on West Field Rd. You may need to get permission to be filming up there by contacting the airport via Facebook otherwise security may tell you to move along.
Excellent point of filming with incredible quality.Watching the 747-8I of Air China I realised that in Melbourne only freighters of this type come.I haven't seen a passenger one.

Asiana, Korean Air, Lufthansa - excellent fleet diversity (all 3 still big players in the quad-jet scene too). Favourite aircrafts are A340s, A380s, 747s and 707s :)
