Honestly, this already works quite well as a boss music.
That's why wildfire works so well just like a unexpected soulsbourne phase 2 theme. Also it is. Boss music if you fight her again until she uses *the move*

This ost is a great prelude to Wildfire. It gives me goosebumps the first time I heard it, and as a HI3 player I know shits about to go down real hard as soon as the vocals dropped. *And it did.*

I finally got around to this point after taking a break from HSR, and this was just breathtaking, especially with my party consisting of characters that were actually present for the battle story wise (Stelle, March, Dan, and Seele). This is one of the few moments in video games that actually got my heart racing.

This was pretty much my team, except I had Herta instead of Serval, since I literally just got Serval by the time I got here, and I wasn't bringing a level 1 to this fight. Ended up duo-teaming with Natasha because both Dan Heng and Herta dropped on the second phase of the fight. Just barely scraped out a win.
I think this is my second fight , my first fight got wipeout so after some upgrade I when back to fight it again and then manage to win 😆

This theme goes so hard with the accompanying dialogue when it starts, as you get so hyped for a fight that's framed like this.
I do like Wildfire, but I think this song has a lot more weight without the vocals... it has a sense of hope and finality to it in this way. Like... no matter what, no matter how much you try to stop me, I'm going to fight until my last... and walk bravely into the end.
The kind of hype only a game like this can achieve.

We were doing Silverwolf’s companion quest and we saw level 38 enemies on the preview screen panicked, leveled everyone who was relevant to 40 and yeah…
I mean, hey it was one heckuva cathartic beat down, so I’ll always have this song have a special place in my heart.
Also, I did like 1 million side quest before the fight and I’m still doing like 1 million more side quest even after the fight…

They could not have laid a better track for this imo. This bout got me in my feelers between speculation induced anxiety (went back and dabled in HI3 waiting HSR’s console release) so gettin this blind experience had me bugging for Bronya’s sake leading up to the fight. And then this song comes in strong with no warning and man…….
Really just nothing short of a masterclass of storytelling and stage setting in the Honkai verse.
Now about these next 3 levels to continue……..
Honestly, just did this yesterday and I was so hyped against Cocolia. Especially with the first fight with trailblazer against her on his own. Then getting a badass weapon from the path of preservation. But Bat Trailblazer is best, hands down.
Ngl I did way too many side quests before finishing this boss I was way too strong for this 😂 I had enough xp to be like 3 levels above level cap

MC new fire lance attack along with Dan heng, Geppard and Dr. Ratio voice lines during battle made this boss fight super enjoyable . And I didn’t pay at all. I got super lucky with those 2 legendaries early 😮💨
